MARCIA'S FAMOUS STICKY BUNS
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but if you want something easy for the morning, this is it. You have to start it the night before, but then all the work is done and it will seem like you went all out.

ROSEMARY PULL-APART DINNER ROLLS
As far as holiday dinner rolls go, these are pretty lean. You can increase the amount of melted butter and toss in a egg or two, but since these are generally going to be eaten with fairly rich food, I prefer a lighter approach.

Steps:
- Dissolve yeast in warm water in a small bowl. Set aside in a warm place until the yeast softens and begins to form a creamy foam, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Combine 1 cup milk and butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook until butter is melted, 3 to 4 minutes; remove pan from heat.
- Combine 2 cups flour, yeast mixture, honey, 1 teaspoon salt, rosemary, and milk mixture in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook; mix on low until no dry spots remain. Stir in 1/2 cup flour, 2 tablespoons at a time, mixing well after each addition. Continue adding flour until a firm dough forms that pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Knead on medium until elastic and soft but still tacky, about 6 minutes. Transfer dough to a clean bowl and coat with olive oil. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or a clean dish towel and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Transfer dough to a work surface and shape into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Cut into 36 equally-sized pieces. Form each piece into a ball, pinching the seams on the underside, creating a smooth, round top.
- Lightly beat egg with 1 teaspoon milk in a small bowl.
- Transfer dough balls to the prepared baking sheet in 3 rows of 12, placing them close together but not touching. Brush tops lightly with the egg mixture and sprinkle with sea salt. Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled, 20 to 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.

These delicious rolls are simply small, rounded baguettes. They convey a more formal air than a baguette, making them ideal for entertaining.

Steps:
- Working with 1 portion of dough at a time, keeping remaining dough covered, fold dough in half lengthwise to form a tight, narrow log. Gently press edges with lightly floured fingertips to seal. Using a dough scraper or a knife, cut into 8 pieces.
- Gather edges, and gently pull and tuck them underneath the dough to create a round shape, pinching to seal.
- Place dough on the work surface. Cup one hand around dough, and rotate it in circles until a smooth, taut ball forms.
- Place rolls on a generously floured linen towel or a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover loosely with oiled plastic wrap, and let rise at cool room temperature until rolls have almost doubled anda floured finger pressed into side leaves a slight indentation, 30 to 40 minutes.
- Place a skillet on oven rack adjusted to lowest position and a baking stone on middle oven rack. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. If using a linen towel, gently transfer rolls to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Just before baking, use a lame or a razor blade to slash the surface of each roll, forming an X. Pour 1/2 cup hot water into skillet in oven. Slide rolls and parchment onto baking stone.
- Immediately reduce oven to 450 degrees. Bake until rolls are deep golden brown, sound hollow when bottoms are thumped, and interiors register 205 degrees on an instant-read thermometer, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool on racks.

MARCIA'S ICE CREAM CAKE ROLL
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch rimmed baking sheet with waxed paper. Spray the sides of the cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Beat eggs with an electric mixer until foamy. Add sugar, baking mix, cocoa, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Pour batter into the prepared cookie sheet, pressing down with a spatula to remove bubbles and even out.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 10 minutes. Do not overbake or it will be difficult to roll.
- While the cake is baking, lay a large dish towel on the countertop. Sprinkle the entire surface of the towel generously with powdered sugar, and rub the sugar into the towel; repeat once more.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 2 minutes, then run a table knife around the edges to loosen. Invert carefully onto the sugared towel and remove the waxed paper. Sprinkle the top of the cake generously with powdered sugar and rub it into the cake; repeat once more.
- Roll the cake, starting with the shorter side and using the towel to help. Cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, remove ice cream from the freezer and allow it to soften slightly. Place ice cream in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on medium until creamy and spreadable.
- Unroll the cake and spread ice cream on it with a spatula or your hands, if necessary. Roll the cake back up and wrap in the towel. Freeze for 3 hours.
- Remove the cake from the freezer and pull off the towel. Neaten the edges of the cake by cutting a thin slice off each end. Place the cake on a plate and frost with the fudge topping. Return to the freezer until ready to serve.
