What makes this meatloaf so good is how you cook it! It's very important to cook this in a baking dish rather than a loaf pan. The grease will drain from the meatloaf this way, and it will be firmer and taste better.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion, crushed crackers, salt, ground black pepper, steak sauce, eggs and water and mix well. Transfer to an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Form into a loaf about 6x10 inches.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until center is completely cooked.

BBQ BACON ONION-WRAPPED MEATBALLS RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, bread crumbs, garlic, onion, fresh parsley, egg, ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, honey, medium onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, bread crumbs, garlic, diced onion, parsley, egg, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and honey until evenly combined. Set aside in the refrigerator.
- Cut the 4 onions vertically on cutting board. Remove the stem and root from each piece. The layers of each onion will act as "shells" to wrap around each meatball.
- Remove the meatball mixture from the refrigerator and pinch off golf ball-sized pieces of meat. Press a small cube of cheddar cheese into the middle of each meat portion, then form into a meatball shape with your hands.
- Wrap each meatball in 2 onion "shells", then with 2 strips of bacon, and transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the meatballs with barbecue sauce, covering them completely.
- Bake for 45 minutes, brushing again with BBQ sauce halfway through, until deep brown with a nice crust on the outside.

- Chop the onion then mix all the ingredients for the meat portion together, uncooked. All the seasonings should be eyeballed in -- just use your own knowledge of what tastes your family likes. Not too much of the liquid smoke or Worcestershire, but give a good few shakes of each. This really adds flavor. Mix together the ketchup and brown sugar for the topping and set aside.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Pull out the meatloaf and drain the excess juice from the pan. Put on the topping and bake for another 30 minutes. This goes very well with cheesy potatoes! Also, the leftovers can be used as meatloaf sandwiches, yummy!

- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Mix first 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup soup just until blended; press into 8x4-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 55 min. or until done (160ºF). About 5 min. before meatloaf is done, cook remaining soup and chili sauce in saucepan on medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Remove meatloaf from pan; top with soup mixture.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Heat the oil in a large saute pan over high heat. Add the zucchini, peppers, onion and salt and pepper, to taste, and cook until almost soft, 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and 1/4 teaspoon the red pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds. Set aside to cool. Whisk together the eggs and herbs in a large bowl. Add the meat, bread crumbs, cheese, 1/2 cup of the ketchup and 2 tablespoons of the balsamic vinegar and the vegetables and mix until just combined. Mold the meatloaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Whisk together the remaining ketchup and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl then brush the mixture over the entire loaf. Bake the meatloaf for approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Remove from the oven and let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
