MICROWAVE POTATO CHIPS

- Layer three paper towels on a microwave-safe plate; set aside., Scrub potatoes and cut into 1/16-in.-thick slices. Brush slices on both sides with olive oil and lightly sprinkle with salt and curry. Arrange on prepared plate (do not overlap)., Microwave on high for 3 minutes; turn and microwave 2-3 minutes longer or until chips are dry and brittle. Repeat with remaining potatoes, oil and seasonings. Let chips cool for at least 1 minute before serving. Store in an airtight container.

MICROWAVE POTATO CHIPS
Steps:
- Thinly slice the potatoes about 1/16-inch thick using a mandolin. Put the potato slices in a large bowl of cold water and stir to release the starch. Drain and refill the water as many times as necessary until the water remains clear. Line a baking sheet with paper towels. Transfer the potatoes to the paper towels and pat dry.
- Line a large microwave-safe plate (the biggest that will fit in your microwave) with two layers of paper towel. Arrange as many potato slices on the paper towels as will fit in one layer without touching. Lightly brush the potatoes on both sides with oil and sprinkle lightly with salt. Microwave at full power for 3 minutes. Flip the slices over and microwave at 60-percent power until crispy and golden brown in spots, about 2 minutes more. Transfer the chips to a serving bowl and repeat with the remaining potatoes.

- Coat a large microwave-proof plate with cooking spray. Arrange some potato slices in a single layer on the plate. Microwave, uncovered, on High until some slices start to brown, 2 to 3 minutes (depending on potato thickness and microwave power). Turn the slices over and continue microwaving until they start to crisp and brown around the edges, 2 to 4 minutes more. Check frequently and rearrange slices as needed to prevent scorching. Transfer the chips to another plate and allow to cool completely. (They will crisp more as they cool.) Repeat with the remaining potato slices.

EASY MICROWAVE POTATO CHIPS RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- On a cutting board, slice the potato into ⅛-inch (3 mm) slices.
- Dry the potato slices with a paper towel until there is no more moisture.
- Transfer the sliced potatoes to a bowl and coat in olive oil.
- Wipe down a large flat microwavable-safe plate with olive oil to prevent the chips from sticking.
- Place the chips on the plate in an even layer and sprinkle with salt.
- Microwave the chips on high for 6-7 minutes or until the chips just start to brown. When the chips develop some color remove them from the microwave and slowly peel from the plate. If chips are sticking, they can also be flipped halfway through!
- Repeat this process until all the potato slices are cooked.
- Enjoy!

- Combine sweet potato slices and and olive oil in a large bowl; toss to coat. Arrange sweet potato slices in a single layer on a large microwave-safe plate; season with salt.
- Cook in microwave until chips are dry, crisp, and slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Cool chips on plate before transferring to a bowl. Repeat with remaining sweet potato slices.

- Thinly slice your potatoes using a knife. The thinner, the better, so you want to slice thinly enough that you are almost shaving the potato; so thin they are transparent. Slices should be between 1/8 - 1/16 inch thick.
