EXTRA CHEWY RICE KRISPIE TREATS

Steps:

• Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat while stirring. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
• Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
• Press into a greased 9x13" pan and cool completely.

MICROWAVE RICE KRISPIE TREATS IN 5 MINUTES

Steps:

• Before you get started, prepare your baking pan by spraying it well with cooking spray. This will keep your treats from sticking to the pan.
• Add the butter, mini marshmallows, vanilla extract, and salt to a large microwave safe bowl, and heat on high for 2 minutes, mostly melting the marshmallows and butter.
• Remove the bowl from the microwave, and stir until smooth.
• Quickly stir the cereal into the marshmallow mixture.
• Lightly press* the mixture into your prepared 9×13 baking dish, and allow the mixture to cool.
• Once your treats have cooled enough to handle, you can cut them into squares and serve.

MICROWAVE RICE KRISPIE TREATS

Steps:

• Grease a large mixing bowl, a silicone spatula or large spoon, and a square baking pan with butter (or spray with cooking spray).
• Pour the Rice Krispies Cereal into the bowl and set aside.
• Combine the butter and marshmallows in a large microwave-safe bowl.
• Heat the butter and marshmallows on high power in the microwave for 1 minute.
• Let the bowl rest in the microwave for 3 minutes, allowing the heat inside the microwave to warm the marshmallows.
• Remove the bowl and stir the marshmallows until they break down and melt.
• Only if needed, heat the marshmallows for additional 15-second bursts of high power, letting the bowl rest for a minute or so, before stirring, until the marshmallows are completely melted.
• Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and stir just until combined.
• Spread the Rice Krispie Treat mixture into the greased baking pan and gently pat into an even layer.
• Cover and set the pan of crispy treats aside for at least 30 minutes before cutting into 16 squares.

RICE KRISPIE TREATS {5-MINUTE MICROWAVE RECIPE}

Steps:

• Place butter and marshmallows in a LARGE microwave-safe bowl.
• Microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove bowl from microwave and stir. Return bowl to microwave and microwave another 30 seconds. Stir again until marshmallows and butter are completely melted together. You only want it JUST melted.
• Fold in rice cereal until well combined.
• Place mixture in a greased 9x13 dish and press down evenly (spray a little cooking spray on your hands to prevent sticking). Allow to cool before serving.

• In a large microwave safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
• Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until coated.
