1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: Toasted sesame seeds, minced fresh rosemary and paprika
Optional garnishes: Halved rye crisps and rolled tortilla chips

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine cheeses. Shape into 36 balls; roll balls in toppings as desired. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. To serve, if desired, press a rye crisp or rolled corn chip into the top of each cheese ball.

2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and seperate to form 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal.
  • Stir together cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over 1 side of each rectangle. Roll up jellyroll fashion, starting at long end.
  • Gently cut each log into 6 (1 inch) slices using a serrated knife.
  • Place rolls in a lightly greased 9 X 15 baking pan.
  • Bake @ 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until lughtly browned.
  • Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to form glaze. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a pie pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, blue cheese and garlic salt and mix well.
  • Cut biscuits into quarters, and dip each biscuit piece into the butter and blue cheese mixture. Arrange biscuits in prepared pan. Pour remaining butter and cheese mixture over biscuits in pan.

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, melt butter and blue cheese over low heat. Unroll dough. Separate into six sections. Cut each double breadstick into six pieces; place in a foil-lined 11x7-in. baking pan. Pour cheese mixture over dough., Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until butter is absorbed and rolls are lightly browned. Carefully lift foil out of pan; transfer rolls to a serving plate. Serve warm.

3 cups shredded chicken
¼ cup buffalo sauce (Frank's)
4 green onions, sliced thin
3 ounces softened, light cream cheese
20 wonton wrappers
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons flour
½ cup warm milk
¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine chicken, buffalo sauce, green onions and cream cheese.
  • Fill a small bowl with water. Place one heaping teaspoon of filling on the front third of each wonton wrapper leaving a slight border around the edges. Use your finger to moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper. Tuck the sides in and roll up, jelly roll-style, place seam-side down on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining wontons and filling.
  • Bake egg rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Serve with blue cheese sauce.
  • In a very small saucepan, melt butter over a medium-low heat. Whisk in flour. Slowly whisk in milk, making sure to get rid of all lumps. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer until thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in blue cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
