3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 cups (12-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels
Powered sugar

Steps:

  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla in large mixer bowl until well blended. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk. Stir in morsels. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan or two greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pans. Bake in preheated 325 oven for 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes or until tooth pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan; serve warm or cool. Sprinkle with powered sugar. before serving.

1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 cups mini morsel chocolate chips (1 bag)
confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease and flour a 10 inches tube/bundt pan or 1-2 loaf pans.
  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.set aside.
  • In mixer, beat the sugar and butter until creamy, then add the vanilla.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, until each one is incorporated.
  • Gradually mix in the flour mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour into floured pan/pans.
  • Bake 70-80 minute or until toothpick, when inserted, comes out clean.
  • Cool 10 min., loosen sides and invert onto cake plate, cover with lid until cake is room temperature. (this will make for a moist cake). When there is no more moisture on top of cake, dust it with the confectioner sugar.

I got this recipe on a Baker's Secret cake pan insert. Looked delicious so I figure I would share it here.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semi-sweet miniature chocolate chips, divded (you can use a 12 oz package of Nestle Toll House)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Beat butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl until creamy.
  • Beat an egg and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually beat in flour.
  • Stir in 1 cup morsels.
  • Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake for 30-33 minutes or just until top is light brown.
  • Immediately sprinkle with remaining morsels.
  • Let stand 5 minutes or until morsels are shiny, spread evenly.
  • Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
  • Cut into squares.
