Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup ground coffee
2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Steps:

Mix all of the ingredients together with either a food processor - or you can use a hand mixer and a mixing bowl.
Mix well until you have the consistency of wet sand.
Put into a jar & label for gift giving.
Sugar scrub is best if used right away, but can be left unrefrigerated for up to one month.

1 tablespoon(s) of ground coffee
1 tablespoon(s) of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon(s) of cinnamon
1 pinch(es) of nutmeg
1 pinch(es) of ginger
1/4 to 1/2 cup(s) of jojoba, grapeseed or almond oil

Steps:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, coffee, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
Whisk in 1/4 cup oil until it is completely combined with the sugar mixture. Stir in the remaining oil by the tablespoonful until desired consistency is achieved.
Transfer scrub to an airtight, nonreactive container with a wide mouth (for example, a hermetic glass jar with a clamp lid).

This is a great alternative to those expensive scrubs and so easy to make. I love the way my hands feel after washing with a scrub and it's great for shaving legs too.

1 teaspoon(s) vitamin e oil
1/2 teaspoon(s) ginger
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg

Steps:

1. Mix all ingredients together. Store in tightly sealed jars.
2. The yield is less than the total of the ingredients because some of the sugar dissolves...My next batch I i will experiment with so coarser crystal sugars.
