MONSTER COOKIES
This recipe combines several favorite flavors-peanut butter, butterscotch and chocolate-in one big cookie. Before baking, I like to press a few extra M&M's on top for added color. -Patricia Schroedl, Jefferson, Wisconsin

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add baking soda and vanilla. Add oats, M&M's, butterscotch chips and peanuts; let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in flour (the dough will be crumbly)., Shape by 1/4 cupfuls into balls. Place on greased baking sheets, about 9 cookies on each sheet. Gently flatten cookies. Bake at 325° for 15-18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.

MONSTER COOKIES I
A former student gave me this recipe. He made it for lab one day and everyone thought they were awesome. I've made them since and gotten similar reviews.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
- Cream butter and peanut butter together. Add the sugars and stir until well mixed.
- Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Mix oatmeal and baking soda separately, then stir into batter.
- Add chocolate chips last.
- Drop by heaping teaspoons onto cookie sheets. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

COOKIE MONSTER'S FAMOUS SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH RECIPE - (3.9/5)

Steps:
- Put 3/4 cup of butter or margarine (that's a stick and a half) into your mixing bowl. Measure 1 cup of sugar. Pour sugar over butter. With fork, squash butter and sugar together until they are blended. Crack shells of two eggs and pour eggs over mixture in bowl. Measure 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour over mixture. With fork, blend everything in the bowl together. Measure 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and pour over mixture in bowl. Measure 1 teaspoon baking powder and sprinkle over flour. Measure 1 teaspoon of salt and sprinkle over flour and baking powder. Mix everything together either with the fork or with your hands. Put dough in icebox to chill (at least one hour). After chilling the dough, roll it out to 1/4" thick. Cut with your favorite cookie cutter. Place on a prepared cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, or a baking mat. Bake at 400°F for about 10-12 minutes. If you'd like, you can sprinkle colored sugar on the cookies before baking, or decorate with frosting after cooled. Enjoy!
MONSTER COOKIES III
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and the butter. Add in the eggs and mix well.
- Mix in the vanilla, corn syrup, baking soda, and peanut butter. Stir until well blended.
- Add in the oatmeal one cup at a time and mix well. Lastly, stir in the chocolate chips and M & Ms by hand. Form dough into balls and place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 12 - 15 minutes.

- Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir all ingredients except candies until soft dough forms. Stir in candies.
- On ungreased cookie sheets, place about 1/4 cupfuls dough about 3 inches apart.
- Bake 12 to 13 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely. Store in covered container at room temperature.
