1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. Dijon-style mustard
2 Tbsp. Lemon juice

Steps:

  • Low-Sodium Recipe
  • 1. Coat chicken breasts with Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb Seasoning Blend.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in medium skillet.
  • 3. Cook chicken until done; remove chicken and set aside.
  • 4. Add mustard and lemon juice to remaining spices in skillet. Heat 1 minute to blend flavors, spoon sauce over chicken.

Mrs. Dash original blend is the key ingredient as well as dijon and honey,can't beat this for quick & easy.If you like to dip your chicken, make a double batch of mustard and honey. As usual with grilling chicken, sometimes I need to cook longer, but always check to see if the juices are running clear. Just 5 grams of fat and 5 grams of carbs. I found this at the Dash website (after tasting LorrieMom's carrots.. oh yum) I have done a touch of zaar adjusting to fit our tasts.

2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
4 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons Mrs. Dash seasoning mix (original blend)
4 (4 ounce) chicken breasts (boneless,skinless halves)

Steps:

  • Heat grill to medium high heat ( about 350 degrees).
  • Brush olive oil over both sides of chicken and sprinkle both sides with Mrs. Dash Seasoning.
  • Combine mustard and honey, place chicken on grill & brush half of mustard mixture over chicken.
  • Grill covered about 4 minutes, mabye more depending on the thickness of chicken breast and grill temperature.
  • Turn chicken and brush remaining mustard mixture over chicken and continue to cook another 4-5 minutes on a covered grill. (Or until juices run clear or knife inserted removes quickly and clean).
  • Everytime we make this dish I find the grilling time is different, so watch closely.

4 ounces fried pork skins
2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons real mayonnaise
4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 egg

Steps:

  • Take the pork skins and crush them until they are like bread crumbs. (I use my food processor) Add the Mrs. Dash garlic herb, onion powder, Italian season, black pepper, sea salt into a zip-lock bag and set aside. Then mix the mayo, whipping cream and egg in a bowl. Rinse the chicken and then coat it with the mayo whipping cream and egg mixture. Take each piece and place in the zip lock bag and shake. Take it from the bag and place it on a well greased pan. You can grease the pan with bacon drippings or use 0 carb cooking spray. Bake at 375 until golden brown. Make sure you cook all chicken well done. Enjoy.
