TUNA CASSEROLE
Break out a family favorite: tuna casserole. The traditional comfort food is great for serving large groups. In our tuna casserole recipe, we cut the sauce with chicken broth, but there's enough milk to make this casserole feel indulgent.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta 2 minutes less than package instructions (it will be undercooked). Drain. In a small bowl, toss together panko, Parmesan, and 2 teaspoons oil.
- In pot, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high. Add onion, season with salt and pepper, and cook until softened, 8 minutes. Add flour and whisk to coat onion with flour. Slowly whisk in broth, then milk.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened, about 8 minutes. Stir in pasta, tuna, and peas and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer tuna mixture to a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and top with panko mixture. Bake until sauce is bubbling and crust is golden, 17 to 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.

- Stir soup, milk, peas, tuna and noodles in 3-quart casserole.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir.
- Mix bread crumbs with butter in bowl and sprinkle over tuna mixture. Bake for 5 minutes more.
MUELLER'S TUNA CASSEROLE
I clipped this off a bag of egg noodles years ago. I panicked one time when I couldn't find the clipping and tore my cookbook cabinet apart. Looked on Zaar and couldn't find it. So I am putting it on here for safe keeping :) I don't always use the potato chips, but have also used "flavored" ones sometimes. Nothing fancy, just good old comfort food.

Steps:
- Cook noodles for 6 minutes, pour noodles and boiling water over frozen peas in colander, set aside to drain well.
- In 2-quart saucepan melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook, stirring, 3 minutes.
- Stir in soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper; stirring constantly, bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
- Stir in cheese until smooth, then add tuna.
- In 2-quart casserole combine tuna mixture, egg noodles and peas. Sprinkle with potato chips.
- Bake in 350°F oven 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.

SIMPLE TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE

Steps:
- 1 Preheat oven to 400u00b0F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2 Place uncooked noodles into the baking dish and top evenly with undrained tuna; set aside.
- 3 In a microwave-safe bowl, combine water, cream cheese spread, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well and microwave for 2 additional minutes or until boiling.
- 4 Carefully pour hot cheese mixture over tuna and noodles in baking dish.
- 5 Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 400u00b0F for 15 minutes.
- 6 Remove from oven and stir frozen peas into noodle and cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cover again with foil. Bake for 15 minutes more or until noodles are tender.
- 7 Top with crushed pretzels just prior to serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9-inch glass pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soup, tuna, and 1/4 of the potato chips. Mix thoroughly. Pour into the prepared pie dish. Cover the top with remaining potato chips.
- Bake in the preheated oven until potato chips on top start to brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Cool before serving.
