There are many different cooking methods for broccoli, But I believe grill broccoli combines the Aand and char flavors in the best desirable way.

4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. canola oil
2 tsp. maple syrup
2 heads broccoli, trimmed into florets
1 tsp. Red pepper flakes, for garnish
1 tsp. Sesame seeds, for garnish

Steps:

  • Insert the Grill Grate and close the hood. Select GRILL, set the temperature to MAX, and set the time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
  • While the unit is preheating, whisk together the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, oil, and maple syrup in a large bowl. Add the broccoli and toss to coat evenly.
  • Place the broccoli on the grill grate when the unit beeps to signify preheating. Close the hood and grill for 8 to 10 minutes until charred on all sides.
  • When cooking is complete, place the broccoli on a large serving platter. Garnish with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

1 large head of broccoli, chopped (about 3 cups)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
cooking spray, optional
1 lemon wedge, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Optional: lightly spray air fryer tray or Ninja Foodi Cook & Crisp Basket with avocado oil, coconut oil, or olive oil. See notes below.
  • Place seasoned broccoli on the tray or into the Ninja Foodi Cook & Crisp Basket in an even single layer.
  • Air fry or air crisp at 390°F for 10 minutes, or until broccoli reaches your desired crispness. Halfway through the cooking time, at 5 minutes, lightly toss the broccoli or shake the basket to help ensure even air frying. Return to the air fryer or Ninja Foodi and resume cooking.
  • When cooking is done, transfer broccoli to a plate and serve immediately.

1 cup chicken broth or water
1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets (about 4-1/2 cups)
4-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1-3/4 cups half-and-half
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
TOPPING:
1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Place wire rack with handles and chicken broth into inner pot of a large multi-cooker. Add broccoli to mesh basket; place on rack. Cover with glass lid. Press steam function; select vegetables setting. Press timer; set to 7 minutes. Start. , Drain and set broccoli aside. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Gradually whisk in half-and-half until smooth; add to inner pot. Press saute function; select vegetables setting. Set to medium cook time (10 minutes). Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Stir in cream cheese and butter until melted. Stir in cooked broccoli. Press cancel. , Transfer to a 1-1/2-qt. round baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients; sprinkle over cheese. Place baking dish on wire rack with handles; lower into inner pot. Cover with air frying lid. Press air fryer function; select custom setting. Press timer; set to 4 minutes. Start. Cook until topping is lightly browned..

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Place broccoli florets in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with garlic salt and ground black pepper, and toss to coat.
  • Place broccoli into air crisper basket, in a single layer, in Ninja Foodi. Set Foodi to 'air crisp' at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8-10 minutes, or until broccoli can be easily pierced with a fork. Shake basket halfway through for even browning.
  • Remove broccoli and serve immediately for best results.
