AIR FRYER CHICKEN THIGHS
Best air fryer chicken thighs ever! Use this dry rub for chicken to make sweet and crispy chicken in an air fryer that's tender and juicy inside. Yum!

Steps:
- Mix brown sugar and all spices together well in a bowl. (or if you want to just sprinkle with salt and pepper, skip this step)Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees for at least 5 minutes.
- Trim any excess fat hanging off the sides of your chicken thighs (ours were bone-in with skin on).
- Rub olive oil on each thigh and put herbs and spices on top and bottom. Any you'd like. If you want to try our brown sugar mixture shown above then: Pour spice mixture on to a plate. Rub olive oil on outside of each chicken thigh, top and bottom.
- Press thigh on to plate so spice mixture sticks, do this on both sides. Place thigh on to trivet that has been sprayed with non stick spray turned upside down, with skin side down.
- Do this for all 4 thighs. Try not to overlap in the air fryer.
- Set to 375 degrees again and cook for 15 minutes. Then open lid and flip all chicken thighs over so skin side is now facing up. Cook at 375 degrees for an additional 8-12 minutes. Check at 8 minutes to see if you want it browner and/or chicken is done inside.

- Put chicken legs in a bowl with 1/4 cup bbq sauce and mix so they're coated, using hands works well for this.
- Pour cup of water into your Foodi and lower down air fryer basket that came with your pot with holes in bottom and handles on the sides.
- Put coated chicken legs into basket. They can overlap slightly for this step. I wouldn't add more than 12 medium size legs.
- Close pressure cooker lid (one not attached), and steam valve. Press pressure cook button, will automatically set to high, and set for 12 minutes.

- Grab a large plate and combine your flour, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Combine. Then grab your cooking spray and give the inside of your Ninja Foodi a good coating.
- Next, wash your chicken then spray each chicken drumstick with cooking spray as well. This will help the flour mixture stick to the skin of the bird.
- After you cover each drumstick, place it onto the bottom of your Air Fryer piece in the Ninja Foodi. Fit in as many as you can. I think in my first batch I was able to fit 5 or 6. This recipe required me to cook two batches.
- Set the Ninja Foodi to Air Fryer, 400, and 25 minutes. At the 12 minute mark, open up the top and flip your chicken pieces and respray with cooking spray. This will give you that little extra crunch that we are all looking for! Close the lid and continue to cook.
