No-Mayo Pimento Cheese image

A southern STAPLE. This dip, spread, put that on ANYTHING kind of food is cheesy, savory and flavorful. Can we talk about CHEESE?!

8 oz tub whipped cream cheese
1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
6 oz jar diced pimentos (drained)
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 lemon (juiced)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp mustard powder

Steps:

  • Mix together the whipped cream cheese with the lemon juice, worchestershire, and seasonings.
  • Fold in the grated cheese and pimentos. Do not overmix.
  • Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve! Store in an air-tight container (preferably glass) for up to a week in the fridge.

1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimentos (drained)
1 tbsp grated vidalia onion with juice
1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 cup shredded sharp yellow cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1 cup shredded medium yellow cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1/2 cup shredded mild white cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))

Steps:

  • In a medium sized bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, pimentos, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne together.
  • Next carefully fold in all cheeses with a spatula until well mixed and combined throughout. Add to a container and refrigerate for 3 hours then serve. Use within 1 week.

I am crazy about pimento cheese and this is the best recipe that I have ever tried and it doesn't need cream cheese. My only stipulation is that Duke's® mayonnaise makes a delicious difference.

2 cups shredded aged sharp Cheddar cheese, at room temperature
½ cup jarred pimento peppers, drained and finely chopped
¼ cup chopped green onions
½ cup mayonnaise (such as Duke's®)
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 dash hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • Combine Cheddar cheese, pimento peppers, and green onions in a medium bowl.
  • Combine mayonnaise, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce in another bowl.
  • Stir mayonnaise mixture gently into the cheese mixture using a rubber spatula until thoroughly combined.

3 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 small jar diced pimento, drained
1/4 tsp hot sauce
Dash of garlic powder

Steps:

  • Blend cheeses together thoroughly with sour cream in medium mixing bowl.
  • Mix in pimento, hot sauce and garlic powder
  • Refrigerate or serve immediately on crackers, tea sandwiches, spread thinly on ham roll-ups or dollop on baked potato.

10 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
8 ounces cream cheese, softened well
1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimentos, with juice
3 garlic cloves, minced (approximate, adjust to your liking)
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 -4 drops hot sauce
1 pinch sugar

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients very well. Note: For the best flavor, grate the cheddar just before you make the recipe. Store pimento cheese in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • To make this into a hot dip, simply heat in a crock pot until bubbly.
