PARIS HILTON'S LASAGNA RECIPE - (3.6/5)



Paris Hilton's Lasagna Recipe - (3.6/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 14

3/4 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup red wine
2 (24 oz.) jars marinara sauce
1/2 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) package sliced mushrooms
1 medium red onion, chopped
12 lasagna noodles, cooked
1 (10 oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (15 oz.) carton ricotta cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cook beef and onion in 1 tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef crumbles; drain. Add wine; simmer, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Stir in 3 1/2 cups marinara sauce and red pepper; simmer, stirring often, 15 minutes. 3. Cook mushrooms and red onion in 1 tbsp. oil in a large skillet over medium heat, 10 minutes. Stir in 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. 4. Spread 1/4 cup meat mixture in a lightly greased 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Layer with 3 noodles, 1/2 of remaining meat mixture and 1/2 of cheddar cheese. 5. Layer 3 noodles, mushroom mixture and 1/2 of ricotta cheese. 6. Layer 3 noodles, spinach, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and remaining ricotta cheese. 7. Top with remaining noodles, meat mixture and cheddar cheese. 8. Bake, covered, 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.

Drain beef, and return to skillet. Stir in marinara and pink salt, and simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Spread 1 cup meat sauce evenly on bottom of a deep aluminum lasagna pan. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles over sauce, and top evenly with half of the ricotta mixture. Top with 4 more noodles and half of remaining meat sauce. Arrange 4 more noodles over sauce, and spread remaining ricotta mixture evenly on top. Top with remaining 4 noodles, remaining meat sauce, and remaining shredded mozzarella.
