Steps:
- For the burger: Find a bowl or pan that is just bigger than your bread and place on a piece of parchment paper. Trace around the bowl with a pen and flip the paper over. Use the paper as a guide to shape the sirloin into a patty. Sprinkle both sides of the patty with 1 teaspoon salt.
- Place a cast-iron pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the oil and heat until shimmering.
- Add the patty to the pan and press down firmly with a spatula. Cook until the edges are crispy and deeply golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Fan the cheese over the burger and place a metal bowl or baking sheet inverted over the patty. Cook until the cheese melts and gets crispy on the edges touching the pan, about 2 minutes more.
- For the special sauce: Whisk together the ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard and black pepper in a small mixing bowl.
- Spread the special sauce on the cut sides of the boule. Place the burger on the bottom half of the boule. Top with the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and a sprinkle of salt. Slice into quarters or sixths and serve.
THE ELVIS PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BURGER
You've never had a burger quite like this before. Legend has it Elvis loved his peanut butter, bacon, and banana sandwiches, so we created this salty, sweet burger as a tribute to the king of rock 'n' roll. Piled high with creamy peanut butter, extra-crispy bacon, caramelized bananas, and a sweet honey drizzle, this totally unique combination of flavors will have you all shook up. Whether you grill the patties or cook them smash burger-style on the stovetop, these burgers will be a hunk of burning love at your cookout.

Steps:
- Heat a griddle over medium heat. Butter the inside slices of each burger bun, then toast in the skillet until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over low heat; pan-fry the bacon for 2 minutes, then increase heat to medium-high and continue to pan-fry until crispy, 5 to 7 minutes, turning often. Drain on paper towels and discard most of the bacon grease.
- Cut each banana lengthwise into long slices, about 4 inches in length. Pour the sugar into a small bowl, then add in the banana slices to coat both sides in sugar. Fry the banana slices in the same skillet over medium heat until caramelized, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Cook the burgers on a griddle over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side, seasoning with salt and pepper. Press down firmly with a spatula to flatten the patties as they cook. A thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
- To assemble the burgers, lay down the bottom half the burger bun and spread on 1 tablespoon peanut butter. Place a burger patty on top, then add another tablespoon of peanut butter. Top with 2 to 3 slices of caramelized bananas, then 2 to 3 pieces of bacon. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon honey, then place the remaining burger bun on top.

IMPOSSIBLE™ BURGER PARTY ROLL-UPS
Allrecipes has made me an Impossible™ Burger fan. The fam too! These roll-ups are a tasty treat for game day or movie night. Start with a 1/2 package of onion soup mix and add more to taste. I like the flavor of the full packet, but I've been told I like my food salty. It may be too much for some. Serve with your favorite burger condiments.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 10-inch pie dish with cooking spray.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat; add meatless ground beef. Break up and cook through until browned and crumbly. Shake onion soup pouch, mixing up contents well. Using a spoon, scoop up half of the soup mix and incorporate into the pan. Add more to taste; discard remaining mix or reserve for another use. Stir in water.
- Remove from heat and fold in Cheddar cheese. The cheese should not be entirely melted, just evenly distributed through the mixture.
- Divide meatless mixture into 8 equal portions. Unroll crescent roll dough on a work surface, working on one at a time. Press dough with your fingers to flatten and slightly enlarge the space, making sure the widest area is facing you. Mound one portion of meatless beef mixture on the wide area and gently roll up to the tip. Tuck the edges of the roll up around the side of the bundle. Place in the pie plate. Repeat.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

MINI PARTY BURGERS
We love finger foods in the South. For parties, I make mini burgers in advance and then wrap them in pastry, bake them and serve them with assorted sauces. -Monica Flatford, Knoxville, Tennessee

Steps:
- I use Durkee grill creations steak dust instead of the bouillon!
- In large bowl mix all ingredients except crackers until thoroughly blended. Crush crackers between hands until fine and mix.Can be fried or put under the broiler.
- It takes a little longer, but I mix the eggs and seasonings in the bottom of the bowl with a wisk before adding the meat and crackers.
- I broil mine so they are lower in fat.
- If frying, use low to medium heat and cook slowly for tender juicy burgers or hotter for a crispy outer shell my kids love!
