Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings, reserving 2 tablespoons in pan., Add onion to drippings; cook and stir over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, green chiles, brown sugar and seasonings. Sprinkle top with bacon. Bake, covered, 60-70 minutes or until heated through. Freeze option: Freeze cooled bean mixture in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally; add water if necessary.

PAT'S BAKED BEANS
My step mom gave me this tasty recipe when I was lamenting over what to bring to a barbecue. I've taken this dish to several parties and there's NEVER been any left over!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings, crumble and set aside in a large bowl. Cook the onion and garlic in the reserved drippings until onion is tender; drain excess grease and transfer to the bowl with the bacon.
- To the bacon and onions add pinto beans, northern beans, baked beans, kidney beans and garbanzo beans. Stir in ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and black pepper. Mix well and transfer to a 9x12 inch casserole dish.
- Cover and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.

- Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Serve hot.

PATIO BEAN SALAD
This recipe was adopted by me in August 2006. I'm not sure whose it was but it sounds tangy tasty. Makes a ton. Can easily be cut in half. I think other types of beans would work well too. Cook time is what I use for chilling time in the fridge.

MAUREEN'S BAKED BEANS
Wonderful mixture of beans, slowly cooked and really tasty. Maureen had a Labor Day picnic for our block every year and always made these beans. Everyone always looked forward to having this sidedish with dinner.

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- In a small roaster or Dutch oven, mix together the green beans, wax beans, butter beans, kidney beans, and baked beans. Mix in the dry mustard, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and tomato soup.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork sausage, crumble, and drain the excess fat from the pan. Saute the onion and garlic with the pork until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir the pork mixture into the bean mixture.
- Bake, covered, for 3 to 5 hours in the preheated oven, removing the lid for the final 45 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 400°. In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion in reserved bacon drippings. Using a slotted spoon, carefully lift onion from skillet and place in a 2-quart casserole.To casserole, add beans, frankfurters, pineapple, brown sugar, chili sauce, bourbon or pineapple juice and coffee granules. Gently stir to thoroughly mix ingredients. Sprinkle bacon over the top.Bake for 1 hour or until beans are bubbly and juice has thickened.
