Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt; cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake 20 minutes., For filling, in a large bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Spread over hot crust., Bake 25-30 minutes longer or until filling is set. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

CLASSIC PECAN PIE BARS
Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Combine 1 3/4 cups flour, butter and sugar in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 1/3 cup pecans.
- Press crust mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 18-22 minutes or until edges are very light golden brown.
- Combine brown sugar, 6 tablespoons flour, and salt in large bowl; whisk until mixed. Add corn syrup, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans. Spread evenly over hot, partially baked crust. Bake 30-35 minutes or until filling is set and knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
- Cool completely. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Cut into bars.

I have made these numerous times and have been asked for the recipe every time I have made them. They are one of the best things I have ever had and they freeze beautifully.

Steps:
- Shortbread base: mix above ingredients together until mixture is crumbly.
- Pat crumbs into a lightly-greased 13x9 inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
- While this is baking, prepare filling.
- Filling: melt butter over low heat in small saucepan.
- Once melted, stir in remaining ingredients except for pecans.
- Simmer over low heat for about a minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
- Pour mixture over hot crust and spread evenly.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes until center is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- Cut into bars when cool.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 10x15-inch baking pan.
- Mix flour, 3/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt together in a bowl until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan.
- Bake crust in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 20 minutes. Remove and leave oven on.
- Mix corn syrup, 1 1/2 cups sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread filling evenly over the baked crust.
- Bake in the hot oven until filling is set, about 25 minutes. Let cool completely, and cut into squares.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the bottom and sides of a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat 1 stick room-temperature butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until coarse crumbs form. Pour mixture into prepared pan; press firmly into bottom.
- Bake until lightly browned, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool, 10 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, confectioners' sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt until light. Beat in 2 cups flour until it forms a mass. Transfer to a 9-by-13-inch pan. - Combine flour, sugar and salt in large bowl; cut in 3/4 cup butter thoroughly with a pastry lender until mixture resembles very fine crumbs. Press mixture evenly into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan, using a piece of plastic wrap to press crumb mixture firmly in pan. Bake at 350* for 17 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
