1/4 cup sliced onions
1 tsp. oil
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Smoked Shaved Ham
1 KRAFT Singles, cut in half
1 whole wheat tortilla (8 inch)

Steps:

  • Cook and stir vegetables in hot oil in small nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 3 min. or until crisp-tender.
  • Top with ham; cook 2 min. or until heated through.
  • Place Singles on half of tortilla; top with vegetables and ham. Roll up.

These sandwiches are delicious. I purchase steak that has been sliced for making stir-fry, which takes a little less time, but achieves the same results.

1 pound beef sirloin, cut into thin 2 inch strips
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon dried marjoram
½ teaspoon dried basil
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, julienned
3 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
4 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise

Steps:

  • Place the beef in a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, marjoram and basil. Sprinkle over beef.
  • Heat half of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Saute beef to desired doneness, and remove from pan. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet, and saute the onion and green pepper.
  • Preheat oven on broiler setting.
  • Divide the meat between the bottoms of 4 rolls, layer with onion and green pepper, then top with sliced cheese. Place on cookie sheet, and broil until cheese is melted. Cover with tops of rolls, and serve.

1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 white or red onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
8 slices provolone
4 large whole wheat tortilla wraps

Steps:

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brush steak with oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook steak until pink just disappears in the middle, 6 to 8 minutes on each side. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest, 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in the same skillet, cook onions and peppers until tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low. Thinly slice steak across the grain and transfer back to skillet. Top with provolone and cover until cheese is melty, 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Fill tortillas with steak mixture, wrap tightly, and serve.

4 tortillas
4 slices Provolone cheese

Steps:

  • Thinly slice onion and green pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook onion, pepper, and olive oil until tender and slightly browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Salt and pepper flank steak and thinly slice, then cook over medium heat until it reaches desired doneness.
  • Place an even portion of steak, onions, and peppers on each tortilla, then top each with a slice of provolone cheese. Roll up and serve while warm.

I have not tried this recipe. I got it from Laura's Lean Beef. Inspired by the Philly cheese steak sandwich, this Philly Style Wrap is a great idea for dinner or lunch.

1 medium yellow onion, sliced
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 lb laura's 92% lean ground beef or 1 lb 96% lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper sauce
6 ounces reduced-fat provolone cheese, sliced thin
6 98% fat free tortillas

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onions and mushrooms until onions are almost transparent. Stir frequently, and cover the skillet in between to retain moisture.
  • Add ground beef, salt, pepper and pepper sauce. Crumble ground beef as you brown.
  • Heat tortillas according to package instructions.
  • Divide beef mixture between tortilla shells. Top with cheese. Wrap and serve.
  • Cooking Tips: If your taste buds enjoy a little heat, add even more pepper sauce.
  • Diabetic Exchanges: 1 starch; 2 vegetable; 3 lean meat.

1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8 (12 inch) flour tortillas
24 slices roast beef (thin slices)
16 slices cheddar cheese (thin slices)
2 cups lettuce, shredded

Steps:

  • Mix sour cream, mayo, onion, horseradish, salt & pepper in a small bowl. Spread this mixture evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  • Top each tortilla with 3 slices beef, and 2 slices cheese. Sprinkle each one with lettuce.
  • Roll each tortilla tightly, and wrap each one securely in plastic wrap. Chill 8 hours.
  • To serve, slice each wrap into 2 or 3 pieces.

2 (4 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breasts, partially frozen
1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning
3 tablespoons clarified butter
½ medium onion, sliced
½ medium green bell pepper, sliced
1 cup sliced white mushrooms
1 ½ cups shredded pepper Jack cheese
½ cup chopped banana peppers
2 tablespoons mayonnaise, or to taste
2 (6 inch) submarine rolls, split

Steps:

  • Cut each chicken breast into thin, almost deli-style slices with a meat slicer or very sharp knife. Toss with Cajun seasoning and let rest to absorb the seasoning and thaw, 1 to 2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Melt clarified butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper; saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add chicken and mushrooms. Use a fork or spatula to break apart the chicken as it cooks-you want that authentic shredded/pulled texture. Cook until chicken is very nearly done, about 8 minutes.
  • Add pepper Jack cheese and banana peppers. Toss and stir until cheese is well incorporated, melted, and gooey.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the insides of the rolls, then load them up with the meat-cheese mixture and transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Toast in the preheated oven until cheese is slightly brown and rolls are crisp and toasted, about 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

These Bacon Philly Cheesesteak Wraps are so easy to make and full of meat. They only require a few simple ingredients and taste absolutely amazing.

4 whole wheat tortillas
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon horseradish
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese (divided)
1 green bell pepper (sliced)
2-3 small strip steaks (sliced thin)
2 Tablespoons steak seasoning
8 strips bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Steps:

  • Place 4 whole wheat tortillas out.
  • In a bowl combine the Greek yogurt, dijon mustard, and horseradish sauce.
  • Spread it over the tortillas and sprinkle one half cup of mozzarella cheese over the tortillas.
  • Saute your green peppers until they are soft and the edges begin to golden.
  • Cook your steak till it's desired doneness and sprinkle steak seasoning over it.
  • Add a few peppers to each wrap, shredded steak, and bacon crumbles.
  • Wrap up the tortilla and heat up both sides of the wrap, with a pan at medium high heat, over the stove, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Eat warm.
