Steps:
- Add water into a large 4 quart saucepan along with the fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Strain the cranberries, cinnamon sticks, and cloves from the mixture. Then mix in the sugar, orange juice, and apple juice (optional).
- Enjoy hot, or cool to room temperature and store it in a container in the fridge for later.

- Place all ingredients in a medium-sized pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer, partially covered, for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cranberries will pop as they cook.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve into another pot or whatever you are serving the cider in.
- Ladle into mugs, and enjoy hot. Garnish each mug with one or two fresh cranberries.
