16 thin slices rustic bread (toasted if desired)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
8 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
8 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
3 tablespoons grainy mustard

Steps:

Spread 8 slices bread with butter. Top with cheese and prosciutto. Spread remaining 8 slices bread with mustard, and sandwich together.

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
2 baguettes, halved horizontally
4 tablespoons Scallion Oil for Prosciutto Sandwich
6 ounces very thinly sliced prosciutto di Parma

Steps:

Smear 4 tablespoons butter over the bottom half of each baguette. Drizzle with oil. Divide prosciutto evenly between the baguettes. Place the top halves over the prosciutto. Cut each baguette crosswise into 4 pieces. Serve immediately.

8 slices rustic Italian or sourdough bread
¼ cup prepared basil pesto
16 thin slices Provolone cheese
12 thin slices prosciutto
4 whole, well-drained bottled roasted red peppers, cut into strips

Steps:

Heat a panini grill or waffle iron. Brush oil over bread slices. Turn 4 slices over; spread pesto evenly over bread. Top with half of the cheese, tearing to fit if necessary, all of the prosciutto and pepper strips and remaining cheese. Close sandwiches with remaining bread oiled sides up.
Cook (in batches) in panini maker* or waffle iron 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

12 slices provolone cheese
12 thin slices prosciutto
12 thin slices hard salami
12 slices Italian or kalamata olive bread
1/4 cup butter, softened

Steps:

Layer the provolone, prosciutto and salami on six bread slices; top with remaining bread. Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter. , In a large skillet, toast sandwiches over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

1/2 cup PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
1/2 cup loosely packed fresh basil, cut into thin slices
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
6 slices white bread, crusts removed
3 slices prosciutto (1-1/2 oz.), cut crosswise in half

Steps:

Mix cream cheese spread, basil and lemon juice until blended.
Place bread slices in single layer on large sheet of wax paper. Use rolling pin to flatten each bread slice to 5x3-1/2-inch rectangle.
Spread bread slices with cream cheese mixture. Top with prosciutto; roll up tightly.
Wrap individually in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate 1 hour. Cut each roll-up diagonally in half to serve.
