Raspberry Lime Smoothie image

This Raspberry Lime Smoothie is perfect for cooling down on a hot day or as a post workout pick me up. It's sweet, tart, fruity and full of good ingredients!

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups (250g) frozen raspberries
Juice of 2 small limes
1 cup (260g) raspberry yoghurt, (low fat or full fat; I used Muller light)
1/2 cup (120ml) milk of your choice, (I used skimmed milk; you can use almond, soy etc)
Lime slices and fresh raspberries to garnish, (optional)

Steps:

  • Place the frozen raspberries, lime juice, raspberry yoghurt and milk into your blender and pulse until smooth.
  • Divide between two glasses, garnish with a fresh raspberry and lime slice, if you want, and enjoy!
  • Raspberry Lime Smoothie is best enjoyed on the day you make it, but will keep in the fridge for 1 day.

Juice and zest of one lime
1 cup vanilla almond milk ((or milk of choice))
1 cup vanilla yogurt
Honey to sweeten (, if desired)

Steps:

  • In the canister of a blender, combine the frozen raspberries, juice and zest of one lime, almond milk, yogurt, and honey (if desired).
  • Blend until reaches desired consistency. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

  • Serve and enjoy!

2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries
2 cups lemonade
1 cup raspberry yogurt

Steps:

  • Place half of the raspberries, lemonade and yogurt in a blender; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

For a cool ending to a meal, our Test Kitchen scoops this bright pink slush into stemmed glasses, then drizzles it with ginger ale. The lime adds a little zing for a sweet-tart taste that's especially refreshing.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 cup sugar
2 cups water, divided
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, thawed
1/2 cup lime juice
3 cups ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1/2 cup water. Cook and stir over high heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat. Press raspberries through a sieve; discard seeds. , In a large bowl, combine the raspberry puree, sugar syrup, lime juice and remaining water. Transfer to a 1-qt. freezer container. Cover and freeze for 12 hours, stirring occasionally. May be frozen for up to 3 months. , To use frozen raspberry mixture: Combine the raspberry mixture and ginger ale in a 2-qt. pitcher. Or for one serving, combine 1/2 cup raspberry mixture and 1/2 cup ginger ale in a glass.
