RAW MIXED BERRY CRISP

Raw Mixed Berry Crisp image

Mixed berries topped with a delightful rich crumble of nuts and dates. This is great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but recently took this to a pot luck were it was a hit even without the ice cream on the side. The original recipe is from Whole Foods Market.

Provided by Debbwl

Categories     Low Protein

Time 10m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups blackberries
2 cups blueberries
2 cups raspberries
2 cups strawberries, quartered if small and sliced if large
1 -2 tablespoon pure maple syrup, depending on your taste and the sweetness of the berries

1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup pitted dates, roughly chopped (about 8 whole)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a 9x9 Pyrex dish toss the berries with the maple syrup.
  • Put the pecans, walnuts, dates and cinnamon into a food processor and pulse until coarsely ground.
