  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

We love creamy coleslaw with pineapple. This one comes out great. Goes great with B-B-Q ribs or pulled pork. If you don't want as sweet you can use less sugar and add a little more apple cider vinegar.

SLAW MIX
6 c finely shredded cabbage
2 medium carrots, shredded
1 Tbsp grated onion
1 can(s) drained pineapple chunks, diced, 18 - 20 oz.
to taste salt and pepper
DRESSING
2/3 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp celery seed
1/2 c milk or half & half
1/2 c sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Toss all the slaw mix ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • 2. Put all the dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk well
  • 3. Pour dressing over slaw mix and toss well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • 4. Before serving, toss well again.

Optional: 1 small carrot (shredded)
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon celery seeds
Salt (to taste)
1 cup drained pineapple pieces
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Toss the cabbage in a large bowl with the carrot, if using.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise , vinegar, oil, sugar, celery seeds, and salt.
  • Stir the mayonnaise mixture into the cabbage, along with the drained pineapple, raisins, and sunflower seeds.

14 ounce crushed pineapple (can, drained (reserve liquid) or 2 cups fresh pineapple diced)
1/3 cup coconut (unsweetened, desiccated)
1/3 currants
2/3 cup mayonnaise (light)
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons pineapple juice (or if using fresh pineapple, granulated sugar)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup nuts (chopped, toasted optional)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients (except nuts - if using).
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle nuts (if using) on surface and serve.

1/2 Head Purple Cabbage
1/2 Cup Carrots
1 Fresh Pineapple
2 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
1/2 Cup Mayo Alternative
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Celery Seed
Salt and Pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Clean and cut up the Cabbage, carrots, and pineapple, then place in a large serving bowl.
  • Set the large serving bowl aside.
  • In a small bowl, add the dressing ingredients and whisk together.
  • Drizzle the dressing ingredients over the bowl of chopped carrots, cabbage, and pineapple, then mix well.
  • Cover the large serving bowl and place into the refrigerator for few hours or overnight. The longer the better.
  • Serve your Vegan Creamy Coleslaw as a side dish to any sandwich or why not put it in your sandwich and enjoy!
  • When making this salad, make sure to use it up in 3 days.

1/3 cup milk, evaporated
1/2 cup mayonnaise
DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar
2 tsp sugar, white
250 g apple, fuji
DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits (115g), drained and chilled, reserve syrup
1 Tbsp raisins, soaked in reserved pineapple syrup
salt, to taste
white pepper, to taste
250 g cabbage, finely chopped and chilled

Steps:

  • For the dressing, add milk gradually to mayonnaise, then stir in DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar. Add sugar. Chill.Coarsely grate apple (with peel) and mix immediately to the dressing. 1 large carrot, peeled and shredded (about 1 cup)
1/8 small red cabbage, shredded (about 1/2 cup)
1 c mayonnaise
1/4 c heavy cream, or table cream
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c pineapple tidbits, drained
2 Tbsp raisins

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots and red cabbage.
  • 2. In a another bowl, combine mayonnaise, heavy cream, vinegar, sugar and salt. Whisk together until smooth and sugar and salt are dissolved.
  • 3. Add mayo dressing to cabbage slaw and gently toss together until well-distributed. Add pineapple and raisins and gently toss to combine. Chill for about 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
