Beef Breakfast Sausage image

Juicy and flavorful beef breakfast sausage is so tasty and filling. You can make several of them ahead of time and quickly reheat each morning.

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef ((85/15))
1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

Place all the ingredients except for the oil in a medium bowl and use clean hands to combine them into a uniform mixture, but don't over-mix.
Divide the mixture into four 1/2-inch thick patties. You can also divide it into eight small patties if you wish.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook them until browned and cooked through, 4-5 minutes per side.
