Roasted Raw Spanish Peanuts Recipe known as Red Skin Peanuts is a quick, easy, and healthy snack. Perfect for homemade peanut butter or candy.

2 cups shelled raw Spanish Peanuts
1/2 tsp pink salt

Steps:

  • First, preheat the oven to 350 * F.
  • Second, spread the peanuts on an oiled cooking pan.
  • Thirdly, stir peanuts every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Lastly, remove peanuts from the oven.
  • Spray with two or three sprays of oil and lightly salt to taste.
  • If using for Peanut Pie or other sweet treats omit the oil and salt.

1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (12 ounce) package peanut butter chips
12 ounces raw Spanish peanuts

Steps:

  • Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in top of double boiler. Stir frequently over low to medium heat until melted; add peanuts and stir.
  • Drop by teaspoon full on wax paper. Allow to cool.

1 pound raw peanuts, in shells

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  • Arrange peanuts in a single layer on a cookie sheet, and place in the preheated oven.
  • Turn oven off. Leave peanuts in oven for 1 hour without opening door. Serve warm or at room temperature.

4 ounces white candy coating
1 can (16 ounces) salted peanuts (about 2-1/2 cups)

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt candy coatings, stirring often until blended. Stir in the peanuts until coated. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until serving.

2 pounds white candy coating, coarsely chopped
1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 package (11-1/2 ounces) milk chocolate chips
5 cups salted dry roasted peanuts

Steps:

  • In a heavy saucepan over low heat, cook and stir candy coating and chips until melted and smooth. Cool for 10 minutes; stir in peanuts., Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes.
