This roasted tenderstem broccoli is a fantastic vegetable side dish that you can make in only 20 minutes. A healthy recipe that pairs perfectly with any entree.

1 pound tenderstem broccoli
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons flaked almonds

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F / 180 C.
  • Place the tenderstem broccoli on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle the seasoning. Turn the broccoli to coat them evenly with the oil and spices.
  • Roast the broccoli for about 10-15 minutes, or until the Tenderstem broccoli is bright green, and slightly browned on the edges. Optionally, add almond flakes, and roast for another minute.

3 bunches broccolini
Good olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Trim 2 inches off the ends of the broccolini stems and cut any thick stalks in half lengthwise. Place the broccolini in a single layer on two sheet pans. (If you put them on one sheet pan, the broccolini will steam rather than roast.) Drizzle each sheet pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and toss well. Roast for 15 minutes, until the broccolini is crisp-tender. Sprinkle lightly with salt and serve hot.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Cut broccoli florets from the stalk. Peel the stalk and slice into 1/4-inch slices. Mix florets and stem pieces with olive oil in a bowl and transfer to a baking sheet; season with salt and pepper.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until broccoli is tender and lightly browned, about 18 minutes.

16 ounces (450 g) tenderstem broccoli (broccolini)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C. For easy cleanup: line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper, if desired.
  • Place broccoli on baking sheet. Drizzle oil over the top. Toss until each floret has been lightly coated in oil. Spread out in an even layer across the baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Place in the middle of the oven and bake for 15 minutes until the edges have slightly charred.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper if desired and serve immediately.
