SHARK ATTACK SHOTS

Steps:

• In a 2-cup liquid measuring cup, whisk together Jell-O mix, boiling water, and rum.
• Place a gummy shark in each of 12 plastic shot glasses. Place glasses on a baking sheet and fill with Jell-O mixture. Refrigerate 20 minutes.
• Add a drop of red food coloring to each glass and swirl with a toothpick. Refrigerate until completely firm, 40 minutes more.

SHARK ATTACK

Steps:

• In a pitcher, add all the ingredients and stir to combine. Garnish with maraschino cherries, if using. Pour into rocks glasses, garnish with maraschino cherries and serve.

SHARK ATTACK PUNCH

Steps:

• For the punch: Combine the lemonade, rum and curacao in a large pitcher and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
• For the decorations: Thoroughly wash and dry a 1 1/2-gallon fish bowl, some non-toxic aquarium plants and 12 plastic sharks.
• Rinse the rock candy with cold water, put it in a large resealable plastic bag and lightly crush with a meat mallet to make gravel. Pour the gravel into the fish bowl and add the aquarium plants, anchoring them with the gravel. Arrange some gummy sea creatures on top of the gravel. Freeze the bowl while the punch chills, at least 2 hours.
• To serve, gently pour the rum mixture into the fish bowl, taking care not to disturb the plants, followed by the seltzer. Put a gummy fish in the bottom of each glass and ladle in punch. Pour about 1/2 teaspoon grenadine into the mouth of each plastic shark. Have your guests dive their sharks headfirst into their glasses in mock attack.

SHARK BITE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Combine simple syrup, spiced rum, light rum, Blue Curacao, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 cup ice, cover shaker, and shake until chilled, 10 to 15 seconds. Fill a glass with remaining 1 cup ice. Strain rum cocktail into glass. Add drops of grenadine into cocktail.

SHARK CUPCAKES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two 12-cup muffin tins with paper liners.
• Beat 1 cup butter and 2 cups white sugar together in a bowl using an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until just incorporated. Stir in raspberry extract. Gradually stir flour, alternating with milk, into creamed butter mixture until just combined; stir in 6 drops food coloring. Pour batter into prepared muffin cups, filling them 3/4 full.
• Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
• Place blueberries, 1/4 cup white sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
• Cut a small hole in the top center of each cupcake. Pipe the blueberry filling mixture into the holes.
• Place 1/2 cup butter in a bowl; beat confectioners' sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, into butter using an electric mixer until just combined. Beat in strawberry extract, vanilla extract, and cream. Gently stir about 4 drops blue food coloring into frosting only until a blue-white effect is created. Pipe the frosting on top of each cupcake.
• Cut the candies to look like a shark's fin. Place one fin on top of each cupcake.
