CHICKEN SHISH TAWOOK
Classic Lebanese chicken marinade

Steps:
- Wash the chicken breasts and cut into small cubes approx 1 inch wide
- Add the vinegar to the chicken breasts and set aside while you prepare the marinade
- In a bowl addd the crushed garlic, garlic sauce, ketchup, white pepper, paprika, salt, lemon and vegetable oil. Stir well
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and refrigerate over night, or for a few hours at least
- Skewer the chicken cubes and barbecue or grill in the oven. You can also shallow fry
- Serve with chips, coleslaw, pickles and garlic sauce
SHISH TAWOOK MARINATED CHICKEN
A Middle Eastern low fat recipe for marinated chicken breasts, which can be baked in the oven or skewered with mushrooms and barbequed. They taste great with pita bread and some pickled turnips.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, stir together oil, yogurt, ketchup, and mustard. Season with garlic powder, paprika, allspice, black pepper, cinnamon, and curry powder. Stir in chicken pieces, coating all sides with marinade. Cover bowl, and refrigerate overnight.
- To make dipping sauce, mix together mayonnaise, yogurt, garlic, and salt. Cover, and refrigerate.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Transfer chicken pieces to a shallow baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven 30 minutes.
