- In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until blended. Beat in lime zest and extracts. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in cherries., Divide dough in half; shape each into a 7-in.-long roll. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate 3-4 hours or until firm. , Preheat oven to 350°. Unwrap and cut dough crosswise into 1/4-in. slices. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool. Freeze option: Place wrapped logs in resealable plastic freezer bag; freeze. To use, unwrap frozen logs and cut into slices. If necessary, let dough stand a few minutes at room temperature before cutting. Bake as directed.

In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in cherries and pistachios., Divide dough in half ; shape each into an 11-in.-long roll. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm., Preheat oven to 375°. Unwrap and cut dough crosswise into 1/2-in. slices. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Frost cookies with melted white chocolate; let stand until set., To Make Ahead: Dough can be made 2 days in advance. Wrap in plastic and place in a resealable bag. Store in the refrigerator., Freeze option: Place wrapped rolls in a resealable plastic freezer bag and freeze. To use, unwrap frozen logs and cut into slices. If necessary, let dough stand 15 minutes at room temperature before cutting. Bake as directed, increasing time by 1-2 minutes. Decorate as directed.

Steps:
- Combine flour, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Beat butter at medium speed until creamy.
- Beat in flour mixture, zest and juice at low speed until dough forms. Dough will be crumbly.
- divide dough in half and roll into 2 10-inch logs. Wrap in plastic food wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Slice cookies into 1/4" slices and place 1" apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges start to brown.
- Remove from pan and let cookies cool completely.
- Meanwhile, make glaze. Put sugar and zest into a medium bowl. Stir in enough lime juice to get glaze to spreading consistancy.
- Spoon or brush glaze onto the tops of cooled cookies.
- Allow glaze to harden, about 15 minutes.

- In stand mixer combine butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Add kool-aid, vanilla and eggs. Mix well, then add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until all combined. Divide dough into two 8x2-inch logs. Wrap in plastic and chill for at least one hour. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment. Remove cookie logs from refrigerator. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cookie rack. LIMEADE FROSTING: Beat butter, icing sugar, kool-aid and milk together until frosting is fluffy, adding more milk if needed. Frost cooled cookies using a piping bag or just spread frosting on top of cookies. Complete with cherries on top of each cookie.

- Using a food processor, mix the flour, butter, sugar and salt for 20 seconds.
- Add the cherries and pulse until chopped (about 20 seconds).

- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Finely chop 6 ounces baking chocolate and set aside.
- Combine flour, cold butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and cocoa powder in a large bowl; beat until mixture resembles small crumbs. Stir in chopped chocolate, maraschino cherries, and almond extract until well combined.
- Pour 2 tablespoons sugar into a shallow bowl. Form cookie dough into 1-inch balls and roll in the sugar until coated. Arrange cookies 1 inch apart on a cookie sheet. Use the bottom of a cup to flatten cookies to 1 1/2-inch rounds.

- Cream together the sugar, butter, egg and almond extract until well blended and fluffy. Then add in the flour and salt and stir just until combined. Then add the chocolate chips. Gently fold in the cherries that have been cut up. Stir in carefully so the cherries don't break apart too much.
- Chill the dough for about an hour so it will be easier to roll into balls.
- Roll into about 1 1/2 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with a silpat baking mat or parchment paper.
