These shrimp are a super easy appetizer recipe which are a party favourite and can be made in no time. Crispy bacon wrapped over juicy shrimps makes these a crowd pleaser. Here is how to make grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon.

25 Jumbo Shrimp
12-15 slices Thin Cut Bacon (Cut into half)
Salt & Pepper
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic (Minced)
1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Steps:

  • Pre heat the oven to 400 Degrees F (200 Degrees C).
  • Arrange the bacon slices on the sheet in a single layer and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the bacon cool down a bit.
  • Mix the glaze ingredients in a bowl.
  • Season the shrimps with salt and pepper and wrap half of the par cooked bacon slices over each shrimp.
  • Secure the bacon over the shrimp using a toothpick.
  • Arrange the prepared shrimps of the baking sheet and brush with some of the glaze.
  • Bake the shrimps for 5 minutes.
  • Then brush them again with the remaining glaze and bake for another 5-6 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove the shrimps from the oven and serve hot.

Partially cooking the bacon is a key step to these perfectly succulent shrimp wrapped in bacon! A crowd pleasing appetizer recipe that's also great for keto and low carb diets. Note that you'll need toothpicks to secure the bacon strips around the shrimp.

8 slices bacon (halved crosswise (see recipe note))
16 large shrimp (peeled except for the tail and deveined)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt (or 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt)
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425˚F.
  • Arrange bacon slices, leaving space around each, on oven safe rack placed inside a baking sheet. Bake 5 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of your bacon. It should still be pliable when you remove it from the oven.
  • Meanwhile, place shrimp in a medium bowl. Add olive oil, salt and pepper; toss to coat.
  • When partially cooked bacon slices are cool enough to handle (about 5 minutes after you remove from oven), wrap each slice of bacon around one raw shrimp, securing with a toothpick; return to oven safe rack. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
  • Bake 10 minutes more until shrimp are pink and bacon is cooked through. Serve.

Juice of 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, grated
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt
1 pound (about 24) large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
12 slices bacon, halved

Steps:

  • Position a rack 3 to 4 inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler. Whisk the lemon juice, garlic, paprika, thyme, olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a shallow baking dish. Add the shrimp and toss to coat; marinate in the refrigerator, 20 minutes.
  • Turn the shrimp in the marinade to coat well. One at a time, remove each shrimp and wrap with a piece of bacon; secure with a toothpick if desired. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Spoon any remaining marinade over the shrimp. Broil, turning the shrimp once, until the bacon is slightly crisp and the shrimp are cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Ragú® Recipe Contest Entry. This dish can be made in the morning and baked in the evening. Craisins (dried cranberries) give this dish a wonderful flavor.

2 cups rotini pasta
4 quarts water
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
12 ounces shrimp, ready to eat 50-60 thawed
1/2 cup minced sweet white onion
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
8 slices ready to eat bacon, crushed
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup craisins
1 cup hot water
8 ounces cream cheese
1 (24 ounce) jar Ragú® Pasta Sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons margarine

Steps:

  • Boil 4 quarts water, add salt and rotini pasta. Cook 3 minutes, drain. Do not rinse.
  • Mince garlic and onions. Crush bacon.
  • Thaw shrimp, drain and pat dry.
  • In skillet add 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic, onions, bacon, sea salt, shrimp, lemon pepper, worchestershire sauce. Stir to mix.
  • Saute until onions are translucent.
  • Soak craisins in 1 cup hot water, drain, reserve this water.
  • Add cream cheese to skillet break up in sections to melt. Add 1/2 cup soaked craisins.
  • Cook on low heat, stirring to mix and blend. Add 1/4 cup craisin water. Mix.
  • Preheat oven 375*.
  • In 11X13 deep dish add remaining olive oil.
  • Add remaining soaked craisins and 1/4 cup craisin water to Ragu sauce. Mix.
  • Add 1 cup Ragu sauce to dish, then one-half rotini, then cream cheese mixture, one cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layer, using all of the layer ingredients.
  • Use the remaining sauce in the last layer.
  • Melt margarine and coat bread crumbs. Set aside.
  • Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes. Then spread bread crumbs on top. Bake until crumbs are brown. Set 15 minutes before serving.

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon each salt, pepper, curry powder, ground cumin and ground coriander
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
18 uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
9 bacon strips, halved lengthwise

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the sugar, lemon juice, oil and seasonings. Pour 1/4 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add shrimp. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 30-60 minutes. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting., In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp. Drain on paper towels. Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Wrap each shrimp with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick., Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill bacon-wrapped shrimp, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, turning and basting with reserved marinade.

30 uncooked shrimp (31-40 per pound), peeled and deveined
6 tablespoons creamy Caesar salad dressing, divided
15 bacon strips, halved crosswise
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with 4 tablespoons dressing; let stand 15 minutes., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until partially cooked but not crisp.
