These burgers are simple to make and bursting with fresh flavors.

1½ lbs. lean ground beef
3 Tbsp. Roasted Onion Burger Starter
1 Tbsp. Green Tea Peppercorn Seasoning
½ tsp. Seasoned Salt
6 onion hamburger buns
6 slices American cheese
6 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, sliced

Steps:

  • Serve it tonight: Preheat grill to medium. In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Form into 6 patties. Place patties on grill. Grill, turning once, until internal temperature reaches 165°, about 8-10 minutes. Serve on buns with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Makes 6 servings. Serve with fresh vegetable sticks and grilled potatoes sprinkled with Green Tea Peppercorn Seasoning. Serve for later: Combine first 4 ingredients. Form into 6 patties and place between waxed paper in a gallon resealable freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Grill as directed above.

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Steps:

  • 1.Mix ground beef, onion, seasoned pepper, seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 4 patties.
  • 2.Grill over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F). If desired, add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed. Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds or until golden.
  • 3.Serve burgers on toasted rolls with bacon slices, if desired. Garnish with desired toppings and condiments.
