CARAMEL APPLE CRISP
You can't beat this combination of tender apples, gooey caramel sauce and a sweet oat topping. "My husband and I are retired and love to cook and bake," says Alta Looney of Howard, Ohio.

- Place apples in a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice; toss to coat and set aside. Place caramels and water in another microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until heated; stir until blended. Pour over apples., Place butter in a microwave-safe dish; cover and heat on high for 30-45 seconds or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over caramel mixture. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 7-8 minutes until apples are tender, turning a half turn once.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish
- For topping, combine Sister Schubert Parker House Rolls with all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. Cut butter into ingredients to create a crumble topping.
- For filling, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, flour, zest and cider and toss well to coat apple slices. Transfer apple mixture to prepared pan. Dot top of apple filling with butter. Cover apples with topping. Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until topping is light golden brown. Cool slightly and drizzle top of crisp with warm Marzetti Carmel Apple Dip and serve with ice cream.
- Crisp can also be prepared in individual ramekins; baking times may vary depending upon the size of the baking dishes.

- Whisk first 6 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Add butter and rub in with fingers until small moist clumps form.
- *Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill.
- Filling:.
- Preheat oven to 375°F Stir sugar and butter in large skillet over medium heat until smooth surface forms. Add lemon juice and cook, stirring, until caramel is deep brown, about 5 minutes. Mix in salt, then apples. Toss untill apples are evenly coated, about 1 minutes. Scrape apples and caramel in 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish; spread evenly. Sprinkle topping evenly over.
- Bake crisp until apples are tender, sauce is bubbling thickly, and topping is golden, about 50 minutes. Let crisp cool 15 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.

WARM CARAMEL APPLE CRISP RECIPE
I took my favorite apple crisp recipe, poured caramel ice cream topping all over it and the end product was a match made in heaven! You'll have to try it for yourself!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 9x13" baking pan using nonstick cooking spray.
- Sprinkle apples with a light dusting of cinnamon.
- In a bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Once mixed together, cut in the cold butter. Press half of the oat mixture into your greased pan.
- Top with half of the sliced apples and half of the jar of caramel.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of the remaining oats on top.
- Repeat layers, layering the remaining apples, remaining caramel sauce, and remaining oats. Pour 1/2 cup of the apple juice all over the crisp.
- Place pan in the oven and bake uncovered for about 30 minutes.
- Pull the pan out, pour the remaining apple juice over the top, and stick back in the oven for 15-20 minutes (you will want to make sure that your apples are done- the thinner you cut them, they quicker they will bake).
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
