Skor Chocolate Bar Dessert Recipes

This easy NO BAKE Skor Bar Dessert will make your life simple! Layered chocolate cake, pudding, cream cheese, broken Skor bars and whipped cream create a quick and easy dessert that's the perfect last minute dessert for bringing along to a potluck or any gathering.

300 g chocolate loaf cake or pound cake
8 whole Skor candy bars, (reserve 2 for garnish) (*Can substitute Heath bars (see NOTES))
3 cups whipping cream
3 tbsp white granulated sugar
2 - 40 g boxes of instant chocolate pudding
4 cups milk (1 or 2%)
8 oz pkg of cream cheese (softened)

Steps:

Break up chocolate cake and add to the bottom of a 9X13 pan.
Beat milk and chocolate pudding powder together until set.
Then beat softened cream cheese and chocolate pudding together
Spread cream cheese pudding mixture evenly over broken cake bits.
Break up the Skor bars into small pieces(*I put the chocolate bars in a ziplock and hit them with a hammer to break them up)
Sprinkle 6 broken/chopped Skor bars over pudding/cream cheese layer.
Beat whipping cream to soft peaks and add white granulated sugar. Beat to stiff peaks.
Spread whipped cream over Skor layer.

This creamy, dreamy dessert is so quick and easy to make! I made it for Father's Day and AGAIN I almost didn't get any because people were coming back for seconds before some of us even had a chance to taste it! Prep time does not include setting time.

2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs (such as Oreo)
1/2 cup sugar, divided
3/8 cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed (1 liter in Canada)
5 (39 g) Skor candy bars, chopped
3 cups cold milk
2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix (4 serving size)

Steps:

Mix crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter in a 13 by 9 inch pan.
Press firmly onto bottom of pan.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in medium bowl until smooth.
Gently stir in 1/2 of the Cool Whip.
Spread evenly over crust.
Sprinkle chopped Skor bars over cream cheese layer.
Pour milk into a large bowl.
Add pudding mixes.
Beat for one minute.
Pour over Skor layer.
Let stand for 5 minutes or until thickened.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over pudding layer.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Cut into squares.
Store leftovers in fridge.
Note: I placed the Skor chocolate bars in the freezer for about 30 minutes to make chopping easier.
Actually, I used a hammer to break them into pieces.

Ingredients

3/4 cup margarine or 3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
1 (300 g) package milk chocolate chips
1 (225 g) package skor toffee pieces (sold where the chocolate chips are sold)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, combine first amount of butter, brown sugar and flour.
Press this mixture evenly into an ungreased 13x9 baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until crust is golden.
Place baking pan on a wire rack to cool while you make the filling; leave oven on.
In a medium-sized saucepan, heat milk and the 2 tbsp butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened-- it will take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes.
Spread this over baked crust in baking pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden; remove from oven but leave oven on.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over top; return to oven for 2 minutes, or until the chips soften and are shiny.
Remove from oven (turn oven off now) and spread the chocolate evenly; then sprinkle the Skor bits over the chocolate, pressing down with a very light touch to embed the Skor bits into the chocolate.
You could cut them into bars right away, but they will cut easier if allowed to chill in the refrigerator for at least a few minutes.
Best served at room temperature, not cold.
