12 hard-boiled large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup roasted sweet red pepper strips, finely chopped
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup finely crushed corn chips, plus whole corn chips (optional)

Steps:

  • Cut eggs lengthwise in half. Remove yolks, reserving whites. In a small bowl, mash yolks. Stir in mayonnaise, peppers, mustard, vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper until blended., Using a small and a large straw, decorate each egg white to make a skull with eyes, a nose and a mouth. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture into egg whites. Place crushed chips in a shallow bowl. Dip each exposed yolk into chips. Refrigerate, covered, until serving. If desired, garnish plate with whole corn chips.

These classic deviled eggs from Food Network are perfect for your next party.

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Smoked Spanish paprika, for garnish

Steps:

  • Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with enough water that there's 1 1/2 inches of water above the eggs. Heat on high until water begins to boil, then cover, turn the heat to low, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and leave covered for 14 minutes, then rinse under cold water continuously for 1 minute.
  • Crack egg shells and carefully peel under cool running water. Gently dry with paper towels. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, removing yolks to a medium bowl, and placing the whites on a serving platter. Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  • Evenly disperse heaping teaspoons of the yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.

  • Place 4 eggs in a wide pot; cover with cold water by 1 inch and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer 10 minutes. Drain the eggs and run under cold water to cool. Lightly tap the eggs against the counter to crack all over. Fill 2 tall, wide glasses three-quarters of the way with warm water. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar and a few drops of red food coloring to each, then add 2 eggs to each glass. Refrigerate 4 hours, then drain and peel the eggs.
