- In a large nonstick skillet, cook the beef, onion and pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Stir in the pizza sauce, pepperoni and herbs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes., Spoon 2/3 cup beef mixture onto each bun; sprinkle with cheese. Place on a baking sheet. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 1 minute or until cheese is melted. Replace tops. Freeze option: Freeze cooled meat mixture in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally and adding a little water if necessary. Serve on buns.

- Unroll pizza dough; place on two greased 12-in. pizza pans. Bake at 425° for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown. , In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. - Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add the ground beef and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Using a spoon, break up the meat and stir until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic and continue to cook until the onions are translucent.
- Add the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, and brown sugar.
- Stir until the meat is fully cooked and sauce is evenly combined. Set aside.
- Cut the dinner rolls in half and place the bottom half in a baking pan.
- Top with meat and sprinkle with cheese. Place the top of the rolls back on top.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until rolls are toasted and cheese is melted.
- Cut into individual sliders.
- Enjoy!

SOUTHERN SLOPPY JOE SLIDERS

- Heat the coconut oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the red peppers and onions and saute until just beginning to turn translucent, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Saute until browned all the way through, about 5 minutes. (If using ground meat substitute, just heat until warmed through, about 2 minutes.)
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the tomato paste, bourbon, soy sauce, cider vinegar, mustard, sorghum, cumin, liquid smoke, red pepper flakes and 1/2 cup water.
- Stir the bourbon mixture and the garlic into the skillet. Simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Season with more soy sauce as needed.
- Toast the slider buns with a little butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the buns.
SLOPPY JOE PIZZA SLIDERS
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet heat a few drizzles of olive oil. Saute the diced onion, green pepper and mushrooms for 5 minutes until softened and beginning to brown. Season with 1 1/2 tsp dry Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook over medium high heat until no pink remains. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
- Add the pizza sauce, black olives, pepperoni minis and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well then remove from the heat.
- Slice the rolls through the middle removing the top from the bottom half. Cover the bottom with cheese, cutting pieces to fit if needed.
- Spread the sloppy joe pizza sauce filling over the cheese, then repeat with another layer of cheese slices. Cover with the top..
- Mix the melted butter with 1/4 tsp of garlic salt. Brush over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 25 minutes then uncover and continue to bake another 5-10 minutes until golden.
- Cut apart and serve.

- In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine the ground beef, garlic, celery, peppers, onions, tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, dry mustard, onion powder, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. - Place the beef in a large pot over medium-high heat and cook until browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain off the fat. Add the green peppers and onion and cook, stirring, until they soften slightly and are combined with the beef, a couple of minutes. Add the garlic and stir into the mixture for another minute or so.
- Add the ketchup and 1 cup water and stir to combine. Add the chili powder, brown sugar, dry mustard, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire and hot sauce. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 20 minutes.

- Cook the beef in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Carefully drain excess fat from the pan. Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic and cook until fragrant and the veggies soften, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
