Number Of Ingredients 10

8 ounces mascarpone, at room temperature
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish, liquid squeezed out
Zest of 1 lemon plus 1 teaspoon juice
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon celery seeds
1 head celery, cut into 4-inch sticks

Steps:

  • Put the mascarpone in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade and pulse until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula and add the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, tomato paste, ketchup, horseradish, lemon zest and juice, salt and celery seeds. Process, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed, until the dip is smooth, about 1 minute.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve with celery sticks for dipping.

1 jar (14 oz) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives
1/4 cup vodka
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon red pepper sauce
24 cooked deveined peeled large shrimp, thawed if frozen

Steps:

  • In 1- to 1 1/2-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except shrimp.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve with shrimp for dipping. Dip will hold on Low heat setting up to 2 hours; stir occasionally.

24 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup spicy V8 vegetable juice
1/2 cup finely minced onion
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup tomato puree
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
2 tablespoons lemon juice
hot sauce
red food coloring (optional)

Steps:

  • Puree until smooth in blender or food processor. Chill before serving.
  • I served this with celery sticks, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.

1 (46 fluid ounce) bottle tomato-vegetable juice cocktail (such as V8®)
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A1®)
1 small lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
¾ teaspoon celery salt
1 (8 ounce) bottle blue cheese dressing

Steps:

  • Place chicken breasts into a slow cooker.
  • Mix vegetable juice cocktail, celery, steak sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, brown sugar, horseradish, and celery salt in a bowl, stirring until brown sugar and celery salt have dissolved. Pour mixture over chicken; stir blue cheese dressing into mixture.
  • Cook on Low for 8 hours.
