1 pound bag frozen meatballs
1/2 cup ketchup, heaping
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cups bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine and mix all ingredients except your meatballs. Place your frozen meatballs into your crock pot, and pour the whiskey sauce in on top. Mix until all meatballs are coated with the whiskey sauce. Turn crockpot on high for about an hour, stirring occasionally. After the hour, turn crockpot down to low for at least one more hour. Serve with toothpicks.

3/4 cup bourbon whiskey
1 Cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Cook the meatballs according to the recipe or package directions. If using a crockpot or slow-cooker you do not need to pre-cook.
  • Warm the barbeque sauce in a small saucepan. Add in the bourbon and mix.
  • Pour the warm sauce into a serving dish and add in the cooked meatballs. Serve immediately

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to your taste)
1/4 cup bourbon
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon oil*
1/2 cup bourbon (see notes below)
1/2 cup molasses
2 tablespoons hot sauce (or to taste)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Steps:

  • To make the meatballs, mix together the ground beef and ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, salt garlic, thyme, pepper, cayenne pepper, bourbon, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Shape the meatballs into 1 to 1 and 1/2 inch diameter.
  • Add meatballs to slow cooker.
  • Combine Sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs.
  • Cover and cook in slow cooker 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours on high.
  • Spoon sauce over meatballs as needed. Serve.
