SO IT'S BEKAH'S PULLED PORK NOW
I have adopted this recipe from Mean Chef. This is one of my favorite recipes. The pork is sweet, succulent and falling apart tender. Fabulous served alone, on rolls, in tortillas.

Steps:
- For rub: mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- For sauce: Combine in nonreactive saucepan, bring to boil and simmer until it reduces to 1 1/2 cups.
- For pork: Rub pork with rub.
- Place in Plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
- Take out pork and re-rub.
- Let sit at room temperature for 2 hours.
- Roast on rack uncovered in oven at 250-275 degrees until falling apart tender.
- It will take 7-8 hours, the internal temperature of the pork when done should be between 195 and 200 degrees.
- Pull pork into pieces, toss with sauce.
- Serve with extra sauce (If you prefer, the pork can be served with Pig Pickin Sauce (#31020)).
SARGE'S EZ PULLED PORK BBQ
Too busy to cook? A slow cooker and a can of beef broth gets you started on this recipe. 'Low and slow' cooking gives you a roast that shreds with a fork. As an added bonus you get great stock for beef gravy as a by-product! Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce and plenty of coleslaw.

Steps:
- Cut roast in half. Rub each half with salt and pepper, and place in the slow cooker. Pour broth and coffee over the meat.
- Turn the slow cooker to Low, and cover. Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the roast is fork tender.
- Carefully remove the roast to a cutting board. Pull the meat off the bone with a fork. You may also chop it with a cleaver afterwards, if you like it really finely cut.

EASY OVEN PULLED PORK
This is my grandmother's no-fail pork recipe and it produces tender, moist, rich meat. Pulled pork is so versatile-use it in sandwiches, tacos, stews, and pasta ragu. Or make it ahead of time and keep it in a slow cooker for BBQ sliders. A great, inexpensive option to serve at a party. My favorite way to eat this is on a bun with lots of tangy barbecue sauce and slaw.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Use a pairing knife to cut 8 small slits into the pork, about 1 1/2 inches deep. Insert a garlic clove into each slit. Sprinkle pork evenly on all sides with salt and pepper. Place pork, fat-side up, in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Carefully pour 3/4 cup water around the sides of the pork. Cover with foil and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil and continue to cook until pork is tender and meat has pulled away from the bone, about 1 1/2 hours more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- Remove from the oven and let stand for 20 minutes. Remove large fat layer and any other large pieces of fat. Pull pork apart and shred.

KAY KAY'S PULLED PORK
This recipe is a hit with everybody! Great for any gathering, especially football parties! Get some while you can! Serve with additional barbeque sauce.

Steps:
- Combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, white sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until evenly mixed. Rub spice mixture over pork. Cover pork with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Place the pork into a slow cooker and add enough water to just cover the pork. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Transfer pork to a large bowl and shred with 2 forks; discard any bone, skin, and excess fat. Drain and reserve cooking liquid from the slow cooker. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir in barbeque sauce.
- Reduce heat to Low and cook for 2 more hours. Add enough reserved cooking liquid to moisten the pork to taste.
