SOFT RICE KRISPIE TREATS
These Chewy Rice Krispie Treats are soft, chewy, and taste so much better than store bought!!

Steps:
- Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Coat with extra butter; set aside.
- In a large pot melt the 8 tablespoons butter over low heat. Stir in the marshmallows and continue stirring until most of the marshmallows are melted. (I like to leave plenty that aren't fully melted for pockets of gooey marshmallow throughout the treats!)
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt. Stir in the cereal until completely coated.
- Spoon into prepared pan and with well-buttered hands press into an even layer. Let cool at least 30 minutes before cutting.

Steps:
- Melt margarine in a large pan over medium heat.
- Melt in marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
- Add vanilla (be careful it doesn't splash on you).
- Without removing from heat, add cereal. Stir until cereal is completely covered with marshmallow mixture.
- Pour into a greased (spray Pam works great) 9x13 pan. Let cool 2 minutes. Press flat with greased hands. Cool completely and cut into squares. Enjoy!

- Grease a 13x9 pan and set aside.
- Melt butter in large pot over medium heat.
- Add mini marshmallows and marshmallow creme and melt, careful to stir often to avoid burning.
- Take off the heat and add the cereal and stir to coat.
- Press into your prepared pan. You can use waxed paper to push down.
- Cool for 30 minutes or so until cutting.

- Grease an 8x8x2-inch pan with cooking spray.
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add sweetened condensed milk. Stir with a rubber spatula until butter and milk are uniformly combined and small bubbles are forming in the center of the mixture, about 2 minutes. (When you first begin stirring they will look separated.) Add the bag of marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir again. Remove from heat.
- Stir rice cereal and remaining cup of marshmallows into the pot to combine. Transfer to the prepared pan and press down lightly with a sheet of plastic wrap; don't pack them down too hard or they will lose their inherently soft and gooey texture. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Let set up on the counter for at least 1 hour. Cut into 16 squares.
