SPECIAL STUFFED STRAWBERRIES

Steps:

• Place strawberries on a cutting board and cut off tops; remove bottom tips so they sit flat. Using a small paring knife, hull out the center of each berry. , In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Pipe or spoon filling into each berry. Top with crushed graham crackers. Refrigerate until serving.

HEAVENLY FILLED STRAWBERRIES

Steps:

• Remove stems from strawberries; cut a deep "X" in the tip of each berry. Gently spread berries open., In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and extract until light and fluffy. Pipe or spoon about 2 teaspoons into each berry; if desired, sprinkle with chocolate. Chill until serving.

STUFFED STRAWBERRIES

Steps:

• Cut the tops off of the strawberries and stand upright on the cut side. Make a cut 3/4 of the way down from the tip of the strawberry towards the bottom.
• Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and liqueur until smooth in a mixer or a food processor. Place into a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe into each strawberry and arrange on a serving platter.

SOUTHERN-STYLE STRAWBERRY COBBLER

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish with 1 tablespoon butter.
• Bring water, 1/2 cup sugar, and cornstarch to a low boil, stirring constantly, in a saucepan. Add strawberries and basil and stir to coat. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. Cut 1 tablespoon butter into pieces; dot on tops of strawberries.
• Unravel crescent rolls and rip into pieces, arranging them on top of strawberries as desired, adding as little or as much as you'd like. Melt remaining tablespoon butter in a microwave in a microwave-safe dish, about 10 seconds. Brush melted butter over crescent rolls. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon on top.
• Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven until bubbly and golden, about 25 minutes, covering with aluminum foil for the last 5 minutes to prevent overbrowning.

STUFFED STRAWBERRIES

Steps:

• With a paring knife remove hull and inner core of each berry to form a cavity. Remove meat of the berry from the hull. Save stem and hull.
• In a small bowl mix together cheese, sugar, vanilla and chocolate. Using a small spoon, stuff mixture into cavity of each berry. Top berries with hulls. Serve cold.

SOUTHERN LIVING'S STUFFED STRAWBERRIES

Steps:

• Dice two of the strawberries and set aside.
• Cut a thin slice from stem end of each remaining strawberry, forming a base for strawberries to stand on. Cut each strawberry into four wedges, starting at pointed ends and cutting to but not through stem ends.
• Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in diced strawberries, nuts, powdered suar, and liqueur. Pipe about 1 teaspoon mixture into each strawberry.

Steps:

• Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine remaining ingredients; add to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined. Spoon mixture into two greased and floured 9x5x3" loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Cool loaves in pans about 10 minutes. Remove from pans and let cool completely on wire racks.

STUFFED STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKES

Steps:

• Slice off the stem end of each strawberry. Use a knife to scoop out a little bit of each berry to make a hole in the center. Set aside.
• Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a small bowl.
• Fill each strawberry with the mixture, mounding a bit of the mixture on the top of the strawberry.
• Garnish with mint and serve.
