Steps:

  • Brown steak in oil in dutch oven.
  • Mix water, tomato sauce and seasonings.

1 can (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce-No Salt Added
1 pkg (0.87 oz each) brown gravy mix
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
3 cups frozen O'Brien potatoes with onions and peppers, thawed

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces; cook 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
  • Stir together undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, gravy mix and sugar until blended. Add potatoes; mix to combine. Pour potato mixture over steaks. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.

1 1/4 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into chunks
Kosher salt
1 pound skirt steak, cut in half
Freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup 2% milk
3 slices American cheese, torn into pieces
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 scallions, thinly sliced (light and dark green parts separated)
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
Steak sauce, for serving

Steps:

  • Put the potatoes in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover; season with salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender, 12 to 15 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup cooking water, then drain the potatoes and return to the pan.
  • Meanwhile, season the steak generously with pepper and the seasoned salt. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until well browned, about 4 minutes per side for medium rare (reduce the heat if necessary). Transfer the steak to a cutting board.
  • Combine the milk, cheese and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until melted and smooth. Pour into the potatoes and mash, adding some of the reserved cooking water as needed to loosen. Stir in the white and light green parts of the scallions and season with salt and pepper. Cover to keep warm.
  • Heat the peas as the label directs. Slice the steak and divide among plates along with the mashed potatoes. Top the potatoes with the peas and scallion greens. Serve with steak sauce.

2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
2 red bell peppers, cut into strips
1 ½ pounds round steak, cut into strips
1 onion, grated
1 cup crushed tomatoes
½ cup water
3 ½ teaspoons white sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook and stir the green and red peppers until tender, about 10 minutes. Remove the peppers from the pan and set aside.
  • Place the steak strips into the skillet with the grated onion, and cook and stir for about 10 minutes, until the steak is evenly browned and no longer pink inside. Return the cooked peppers to the skillet, and stir in tomatoes, water, and sugar. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth, defatted,divided
1 carrot, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 lb well-trimmed top round beef, cut into 4 thin steaks

Steps:

  • In a large pot of boiling water, over high heat, boil potatoes about 8 minutes or until tender.
  • Drain well; toss with parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of the oil and 1/4 teaspoon of the salt.
  • Cover and keep warm.
  • Meanwhile, in large nonstick skillet, over medium heat, heat 1 teaspoon of the remaining oil until hot but not smoking.
