SWEET AND SPICY STICKY WINGS

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a large rimmed sheet tray with nonstick spray.
- Place the chicken on the sheet tray and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake until cooked through and crisp, about 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, butter, garlic, chipotle and ginger together in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook on low until thick and syrupy, about 15 minutes.
- Add the cooked wings to the bowl of sauce. Toss until completely coated. Add to a platter and sprinkle with the green onions.
SWEET AND SPICY BAKED BBQ WINGS
No deep frying here! So easy to make in large batches for football tailgates, or for party/holiday appetizers. Make extra sauce and keep in the fridge for other uses, as well. This recipe was adapted from several different wing fanatics creations. It still needs a bit of tweaking, but so good!

- Crispy Baked Wings:.
- Adjust your oven racks to the lower middle section and the upper middle section. Preheat the oven to 250°. With a paper towel, pat the chicken wings dry. Line a large baking sheet with foil and coat with non stick cooking spray. Place the chicken wings, baking powder and salt in a large ziplock bag, shaking to coat evenly. Be sure that they are coated evenly as you don't want clumps of baking powder on just a few of the wings otherwise they will not crisp up. Place the chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet, fat side up. Place the baking sheet on the lower middle rack and bake for 30-35 minutes. Meanwhile prepare sweet and spicy bbq sauce (recipe below). Increase the heat to 425° and move the wings to the upper middle rack, baking for an additional 45-50 minutes. Brush the wings with the sweet and spicy bbq sauce and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Serve immediately with extra bbq sauce if desired.
- Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce:.
- Combine all the above ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a slow boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and allow the sauce to cook for 5-7 minutes. Allow the sauce to cool and then transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate.

- Arrange chicken wings on a grill pan. Cook in the Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven on "Auto Cook" setting 1 until browned, about 18 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Make barbeque sauce by whisking ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes together in a small sauce pan until well combined. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place cooked wings in a large bowl; pour desired amount of sauce over top and toss to coat well.

BAKED BBQ CHICKEN WINGS
These wings are easy to make and taste delicious. They turn out slightly crispy outside and tender inside. You can use your favorite barbeque sauce so they turn out just right.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and lightly brush with 1 teaspoon oil.
- Place wings in a single layer on the prepared pan, skin-side up, with a little space between each wing. Brush the top of each wing with the 1/3 cup oil. Brush hot sauce over the oil layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven, basting with pan juices a few times, until wings are browned, 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Remove pan from oven and soak up excess grease with paper towels. Spread barbeque sauce over top side of wings.
- Return wings to oven and bake for 5 minutes. Spread a second layer of barbeque sauce over wings; bake for 5 minutes more.
