Vietnamese Avocado Smoothie image

Blended up in a few minutes, this Asian inspired avocado smoothie with sweetened condensed milk has a rich, sweet flavor and a creamy, silky texture.

2 medium ripe avocados (, peeled, pitted, and cubed)
1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup almond milk ((or any other milk))
1 cup ice

Steps:

  • Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Spoon the flesh out of the skins and place into a blender.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and serve.

1 cup ice cubes
1 ripe Hass avocado (skin removed)
1/2 cup milk (plus extra to thin if needed)
1/2 cup condensed milk (or to taste)

Steps:

  • Add the ice cubes, avocado, milk and some of the condensed milk to the blender.
  • Cover and blend on high until the mixture is smooth.
  • Check the consistency. If it's too thick, add more milk to achieve desired consistency.
  • Cover and blend on high again. Check for sweetness and add more condensed milk, if desired.
  • Stir before pouring into small glasses or dessert dishes.
  • Enjoy cold or room temperature. Store covered in the fridge for up to 12 hours (discoloration may occur).

This super easy avocado smoothie recipe will give you an almost sinful dessert with the richness of and extra texture formed by frozen Haas avocado slices.

1 medium Haas avocado (sliced and frozen)
½ c ice
⅓ c milk ((add more if you want to thin smoothie))
¼ c condensed milk ((add more if you want a sweeter smoothie))

Steps:

  • To make the frozen avocado slices, cut ripe avocados in medium sized slices. Line a sheet pan with wax paper and place the avocado slices individually on the pan. Place this sheet in the freezer for one hour. When they have frozen, you can use them for the smoothie or put them in a freezer safe container.
  • To make the smoothie, add all the ingredients into a strong blender. Consistency should be super thick with small chunks of the frozen avocados.
  • This ratio is not too sweet, but you can adjust the amount of condensed milk for a sweeter taste. To make this a smoother consistency, you can add more milk too.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and eat with a straw or spoon (it's that thick!).

1 large ripe avocado (skin and seed removed)
1 cup ice
1 cup milk (I used fat free milk but you can also use almond milk or other milk substitutes)
3 tbsp honey (or more as needed (can substitute with sugar free syrup))

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Taste and adjust as needed. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add more milk. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add more sweetener. Serve immediately.
