QUICK TATER TOTS BAKE
I like to make this Tater Tot casserole when time before supper is short. If we have unexpected company, I just double the ingredients and use a 13x9-in. pan. I call it my Please Stay Casserole! -Jean Ferguson, Elverta, California

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Season with salt and pepper. , Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Top with Tater Tots. Combine soup and milk; pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, 30-40 minutes or until heated through.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 13x9-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Spread 20 potato nuggets in the casserole dish.
- Bake in preheated oven until warmed through, about 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onion in the hot skillet until beef is completely browned, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Season beef mixture with 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce together in a bowl.
- Smash the warmed potato nuggets in the casserole dish to cover the bottom completely. Spread ground beef mixture over the mashed potato nuggets. Pour soup mixture evenly over the beef layer. Top with remaining potato nuggets and sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar cheese evenly over the nuggets.
- Bake in preheated oven until casserole is bubbly and potatoes golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.

- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onions. Drain excess fat, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

- Brown ground turkey (or beef), season to taste (Johnny's Seasoning Salt is very good for this, but salt and pepper will do nicely), drain and set aside.
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line the bottom of an 11x13 rectangular baking dish with the frozen tater tots.
- Layer the browned ground meat next, then the green beans.
- In a bowl or large measuring cup mix the soup and enough milk that when mixed with the soup makes it easy to pour but not excessively runny.
- Pour mixture on top of the green beans and spread around to coat the top of the casserole.
- Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes until casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and starting to brown.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile brown ground beef and onion in skillet; drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in the bottom of a casserole dish. In a bowl empty the can of mushroom soup and whisk in a half can of water. Pour over ground beef. Combine the cheeses and cover the soup using all of the cheese. Cover the top with tater tots. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until tater tots are brown and casserole is bubbly. Serve with saled or coleslaw and bread if desired.

- Brown ground meat with seasonings to taste (I use No Salt seasoning, such as Mrs. Dash) -- Put meat to side.
- Mix soups and mixed vegetables together, cook on medium to low heat, until warm. Add in meat to soup mixture, mix well.
- Pour into a casserole dish. Top with tater tots -- making a solid layer of tater tots. Sprinkle tater tots with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cook for 30 minutes in 350 degrees F oven.
