TRADITIONAL CURRY NOODLE SALAD



Traditional Curry Noodle Salad image

Delicious, colorful and tasty curry noodle salad

Number Of Ingredients 12

500 grams noodles (screws or shells)
1 tsp salt (heaped)
2 liter water (boiled)
½ red Pepper
½ green Pepper
½ yellow Pepper
1 onion
1 tbsp curry powder (heaped)
1 cup tomato sauce
½ cup vinegar
½ cup sunflower oil
1 cup sugar (white or brown)

Steps:

  • Chop onion into fine cubes.
  • Dice peppers into fine cubes.
  • Add sugar.
  • Add oil and vinegar.
  • Add tomato sauce.
  • Add curry powder.
  • Boil in salted water until al dente.
  • Strain and add to the dressing.
  • Mix through thoroughly.
