This easy honeyed Turkish Apple Tea Recipe makes a great hot drink for the icy weather. Spiced up with cinnamon and cloves, have a cup in just 20 minutes.

- Combine all ingredients except honey in a saucepan then bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes until the apples are very soft.
- Add honey and stir to dissolve, then gently squash the apples.

- Pour into tea glasses and serve with mint and lemon zest.

- Place all the ingredients except the honey into a saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat & simmer for 15 minutes.
- Strain the hot tea into a teapot. Make sure to gently push on the apples to remove all the liquid.
- Sweeten with honey then pour into tea glasses.
