- In a large microwave-safe bowl, mix cereal and pecans. In a 2-cup glass measuring cup, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt; microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until smooth, stirring once., Whisk in baking soda. Pour over cereal mixture, toss to coat. Microwave, uncovered, on high 3 minutes, stirring every minute., Spread onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet; immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and caramel bits (do not stir). Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Break into pieces. Stir in pretzels. Store in an airtight container.

TURTLE CHEX PARTY MIX
This no-bake game day snack is ready in less than 15 minutes and has the best sweet and salty flavor. It's loaded with Chex cereal, pretzels and almonds, then topped with a delicious chocolate-caramel drizzle. Take one bite and you will be hooked!

Steps:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the Chex, pretzels and almonds in a large bowl.
- Place the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in a microwavable bowl. Microwave 1 minute, stir and then microwave 1 more minute or until combined. Then pour over the Chex and stir until coated.
- Pour the Chex cereal out onto the parchment paper and allow to cool. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Then drizzle the caramel over top and allow to cool.

HOMEMADE CHEX® PARTY MIX
This homemade snack mix recipe my mom has had since it originated in the 1940s. This was always a holiday favorite at our house. So much better than the newer versions with a richer flavor with the extra butter. This is a very hard-to-find recipe so I thought I'd share. Great to put in tins and give away. I always quadruple the recipe and store extra in freezer. Store in an airtight container or large zip-top bags.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
- Melt butter, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and celery salt over low heat in a medium saucepan until butter has dissolved, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Combine rice cereal, wheat cereal, corn cereal, oat cereal, mixed nuts, and pretzel sticks in a large mixing bowl. Pour butter mixture over and gently stir to coat all of the pieces. Transfer mixture to a large roasting pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 2 hours, stirring gently every 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely, about 1 hour. Store in airtight containers.
