PARMESAN GARLIC BREADSTICKS
These tender breadsticks fill the kitchen with a tempting aroma when they are baking, and they're wonderful served warm. My family tells me I can't make them too often. —Gaylene Anderson, Sandy, Utah

Steps:
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the milk, sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes., Punch the dough down. Turn onto a floured surface; divide into 36 pieces. Shape each piece into a 6-in. rope. Place 2 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 25 minutes. , Melt remaining butter; brush over dough. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garlic salt. Bake at 400° until golden brown, 8-10 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks.

ITALIAN GARLIC PARMESAN BREADSTICKS

- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add 1 tablespoon oil, sugar, salt and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough (dough will be sticky). Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. , On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 15-in. square. Cut in half lengthwise; cut each half widthwise into 1-in. strips., In a shallow bowl, combine the butter, cheese, parsley, garlic powder and remaining oil. Dip each strip into butter mixture, then twist two to three times. , Place 1 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 18-21 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Here's what you need: self-rising flour, greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, fresh parsley, salt

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F(200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the self-rising flour and greek yogurt until it comes together to form a ball.
- Transfer the dough ball to a lightly floured work surface and use your hands to begin flattening and shaping the rough into a roughly 8-inch (20 cm) disk.
- Using a bench scraper or knife, cut the dough into 8 equal pieces.
- One at a time, roll each piece out into a roughly 12 inch (30 cm) log and set aside.
- Transfer the dough logs to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and shape individual knots. Repeat with remaining logs.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Brush each knot with garlic oil mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until the garlic knots have begun to turn golden brown.
- Enjoy!

- Place one sheet on floured surface. Put spread 1/2 of butter mixed with garlic. sprinkle on parmesan. Place other sheet on top, flour and roll out larger. spread half of the dough with 1/2 of remaining butter/garlic and sprinkle with half of the remaining parmesan. Fold over dough in half and roll out again. spread remaining butter/garlic on half sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Roll out again. Cut into 3/4 inch wide strips and twist each strip and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes until golden brown. Devour. Variations: you can use any hard cheese (asiago, romano)), add any spices (pepper, rosemary, etc) to change the flavors.
