UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS
Lean ground beef creates a fuller, meatier sauce for these delicious unstuffed cabbage rolls. Mixed with the chopped cabbage, it's very hearty. Infused with great flavors, no one will ever realize the recipe is lower in carbs. It's very comforting and filling. A healthy dinner recipe.

Steps:
- 1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 2. Add ground beef and onion and cook, stirring until ground beef is no longer pink and onion is tender.
- 3. Add garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.
- 4. Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, pepper, and salt.
- 5. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
- 6. Enjoy!
UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS
Steps:
- Warm the oil in a large deep sided skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the beef, chili powder, garlic, salt, and pepper. Crumble the meat as it cooks. When the meat has browned, about 8 minutes, add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the cabbage, reduce to simmer, and cover with lid. Cook until the cabbage is bright green, tender, and still slightly crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Add in the cooked rice and simmer just until heated through about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
