Locate the file on your computer and click on it to launch the slide showWe know what an overwhelming task it can be to become prepared and that is why Prospering Families created the Preparedness for Life Series. By learning to become prepared in simple, easy steps, the feeling of panic can be replaced with satisfaction as you master each new skill at your own pace. Not only do we teach you how to master these skills, but also why each one is important. You will learn how to create your own Prepared Pantry, Prospering Families' concept of a realistic, customized, and usable Food Storage plan.Over the years, Prospering Families has learned that the easiest way to begin preparing is to assess where we are right now. It isn't until we know where we are now, that we know how far we need to go. Throughout this program you will come across several needs assessments that deal with various topics. Take these assessments. Talk about the results with your family. Set goals in each area to become more prepared as a family. When you set goals as a family you are more likely to succeed, because everyone is committed to your family's success.

That area should be focused on heavily, but ideally you should start with the Finances chapter and continue from there.

There are spreadsheets, manuals, checklists, forms, presentations, photos and even a video to make your family's journey as effective as possible. Take the time to explore each chapter regardless of how prepared you may think your family is in that area. Each recipe will indicate if a document, presentation, spreadsheet, photo or video is available.Chapters 3, 4, 5 and 7 start with a Needs Assessment . The Needs Assessments are valuable tools to gauge your family's current preparedness status.Each recipe and document is formatted for you to print out and include in binder.Chapter 8 includes 20 preparedness recipes for your family to try. All recipes can be used to create your customized Master Menu Ingredient Shopping List.This software is equipped with a drag-and-drop menu planning system.
